    Always have to restart to connect to the internet

    One thing that frustrated me the most about this laptop is every time I opened the lid I had to restart in order to connect to Wi-Fi. The display was relatively poor compared to other computers on the market for the same price. Overall speed and performance was as expected.

    Do Not buy watch you tube videos on shelf life

    Buyer beware. Laptop purchased 9/2021 for a granddaughter. Computer then stopped working. No black screen, no noise just stopped. Total cost with school software, geek squad and other items, $946.00. In order to fix it would have to be shipped $84.95 and then the repairs estimated at $300.00. Lenovo has a myriad of you tube videos with similar problem scenarios. This is a company wide problem and reflects on the inferiority of the product and the workmanship. In many cases, if a grand parent is helping out their grand child with such a purchase, then all household money is tight and all funds have to be used conservatively. For Lenovo to have the arrogance to put out a product they know is deficient and con buyers into a purchase that will be useless after 2 years - that's about $500.00 a year - is really a reflection of their corporate culture and any Lenovo purchase should be avoided at all costs. Most people do not have the money to basically throw $500.00 on the ground. Most people rely and need a computer to last at least 7 years, that's a reality.

    Hinge failures kill a great bargain...

    Before you buy the Yoga 7i you should do a search on hinge failures for this model. Mine failed at 18 months and the only option is to send it back for a long expensive repair or do a home diy repair. There was even a class action lawsuit on this. When it fails you will see that the hinge and therefore the screen is held on with a glued on plastic hinge.

    DO NOT BUY A Lenovo

    This is the 2nd Lenovo Yoga Laptop that we have had that stopped working just after warranty expired. We had bought my son a Lenovo Yoga and it worked great for the 1st year so we bought my daughter a Lenovo Yoga laptop too. About 4 months later, my Son's stopped working. BestBuy said the Lenovo's are not made to last and the cost to fix it is more than buying a new Dell. 15 months after we bought my daughter her computer it also stopped working. Neither computer was abused, dropped or even had a scratch on them, just poorly made internal components that stop working after about 1 year of use. I think they have a high rating because they initially work fine and by the time you want to give it a 1 star, they have moved on to the new model which you are unable to give the negative review, DO NOT buy this computer if you want it to last more than 15 months.

    A terrible experience

    The screen has an overly warm/yellowish tint to it. I've made sure eye care mode is off and night light is off. I tried calling Lenovo support. The representative disconnected the call as I was describing the issue in detail and then never called me back even though she had requested my callback number earlier in the call. Next, I ran the Lenovo diagnostic and submitted the results and a description of the problem in a support ticket online. Lenovo responded with a generic response requesting that I do the troubleshooting that I had already said I had done and indicated if that didn't work that I should call them! Yeah, that didn't work so well the first time, Lenovo. They also suggested I contact my retailer (Best Buy) for replacement options. However, that is not a great option now that I have it setup through my work to access networks and have a bunch of third party apps installed (i.e., there is a lot of setup I would need to redo if I did an exchange). So, my recommendation to anyone reading this is to stay away from Lenovo products because they seem to have no interest in supporting what they sell.

    Doesnt connect via Bluetooth to Samsung products

    This laptop was not able to connect to either of my Samsung items. My phone S22 nor my S7 tablet. The Geek squad informed me it was best to return the item. The geek customer service line tried to resolve issue on 2 separate calls totalling 2.5 hours. The instore geek squad had it for 24 hours and could not resolve the issue.

    This computer after a little over 1 year stopped connecting to the internet. This was not a refurbished or renovated model, but brand new out of the box. I regret this purchase. I believe the high reviews are from new owners. The company probably wants you to buy another computer.
