    The battery life sucks even with battery saver on. A full charge gets u around 5-7 hours of use (without no app running lol)

Your computer will continue to run background processes, unless they are manually made as minimal as possible, even when no apps are open. To save on power draw, we recommend putting your device to sleep or powering it off in between sessions. You can also make adjustments in device settings in the Lenovo Vantage app on your Yoga for further customization to power settings. Lenovo

    Brand new laptop does not start. It gets into starting loop. Worst decision was to buy from Best Buy who have limited return window. Nasty product and bad choice of using BB.

    I've been using this laptop solely for college, and after just 27 days, it started slowing down significantly. The performance has dropped to the point where it feels almost unusable for certain tasks.

      Hey there, we're sorry to hear that you ran into trouble with your Yoga. To help resolve this issue, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps: 1. Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.). 2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual. 3. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting.     Purchased Open Box "Good" condition that was supposed to include all necessary parts, a USB-C was missing. None of my USB-C chargers will charge the laptop. Total brick and very disappointed in the Squad!

    Wonderful innerworkings, but cheap casing ruins it

    I've owned two of these. The first lasted four years before the hinge broke and the screen separated from the casing. I bought a second one because other than the hinge I really liked my Yoga. The first casing and hinge were all plastic. The second time around it had a metal hinge. Three months in the casing around the hinge broke and the screen separated from the casing and began to create crackleson the screen. I sent it to Lenovo, they took six weeks to repair it stating that they had replaced the top screen. They did not. The screen was re-attached but the crackles are still in the screen. They called me two weeks after returning it to me to see if I was happy with the repairs. When I explained that the top was not replaced just "fixed", they apologized and said send it back they would replace the top. That meant another six weeks without a laptop. I chose not to send it back. My mistake. It is two years later but I no longer have a cursor. I have to do everything using the touchscreen which is not effficient. I will never buy another one of these things. I think this company takes a wonderful machine and cheaps out on the casing. It's like putting good wine into plastic bottles. It should never be done!

    Sound issues.

    I bought this a few days ago. So far it’s good. My only issue right now is the sound. I had to record a video in PowerPoint for a class and the sound quality was not good. My old Lenovo had better sound. This one sounded tinny and the volume went up and down. I’ve run some updates and hopefully that will help. I will try to update this review if applicable.

    I love everything about the Lenovo 7i except the camera. The image quality is so bad it is criminal. It is such a shame because I truly do love this machine other than that. Lenovo why cut that corner?

    Absolutely love this laptop. It is replacing an older Lenovo. Even though screen is a bit smaller the picture is sharper. And Windows 11 is easily adjusted to.

    quiet amazing except back arrow key

    My left Arrow key (Home) in the bottom is quiet different from rest of the key board. Key switch mechanism was slow, functionality wise its working good. is it common for this laptop or should i sent for service? rest of the laptop is quiet brilliant.

    Died after 31 days - Best Buy/Lenovo service sucks

    I bought two Lenovo 7i laptops in January as I am starting a new STEM education program. One laptop is for me, and one is for my partner. After exactly 31 days, one died overnight while standing on my desk in my office. I called customer support, and after talking to a few reps, they agreed that the laptop had died and needed to be sent in for repair. As I had ordered the laptop from the Lenovo website but had picked it up from Best Buy, they recommended I drop it off at the store for faster service. I went to the store, where they came to the same conclusion. They informed me that the laptop would be gone for about 4 weeks. Replacement was not possible, as it was after the 30 day windows -- by exactly one day. THey could not replace the laptop without approval from Lenovo because it broke outside of the 30 day window, but if Lenovo approved an exchange it would be ok. As for now, they could only ship the laptop to Lenovo, for which they charge $100. I refused. Back home, I called Lenovo customer service again. I also mentioned the possibility of exchanging the laptop, as it was one day outside the return/replacement window. They couldn't do that, but they told me that Best Buy could, as I had picked the laptop up from them, and it was now under warranty by Best Buy. If I could provide a return box, they could provide the return label. I also had to expect to get the laptop returned in 4-6 weeks. This whole situation is ridiculous. Lenovo has been my go-to brand. I am writing this review on my "old" Lenovo Yoga laptop. It's too bad the brand and customer service went down the drain. The collaboration between Best Buy and Lenovo seemed ideal, but have proven to make things more complicated for customers as neither takes responsibility. I just filled a classroom with 12 Dell computers and have four more classrooms to go... they won't be Lenovo and won't be delivered by Best Buy

    Touchpad stops working after Windows update

    Do Not Purchase! Touchpad stopped working after installing Windows update (Windows 11 update 23H2. This is a known issue dating back several months. Search for Touchpad I2C HID Device. There are numerous posts about the error. Following all the Lenovo suggested fixes did not work. Spoke with three different tech support people at Lenovo. The last person admitted that they were aware of the problem and did not yet have a solution. Thus, was simply told to return computer and buy another Lenovo product. Asked for an updated Lenovo model without this problem, and was denied. Asked for a rebate for my troubles, and was denied. Neither Lenovo, nor Best Buy, should be selling this computer with no available fix. Terrible experience.

    Lenovo is a scam company

    Don't buy from Lenovo. Their repair services aren't viable. I would have to drive 2.5 hours to get to a repair center covered under warranty. I tried to leave a review on their website, but I can't. Others had similar issues. Seems a lot of their reviews could be fake. Never buying Lenovo again.

    I had to recall and get this thing rebooted. Or something, or whether 3 times already and now it's doing it again it turns on. Well no I have to work so I don't know and then the Yoga sign comes app and then I hear a ding like Bells and it shuts down has happened more than once, not happy brand new computer got it for my birthday. And I hate to tell my kids that I hate this crapping machine
