Great Buy if You don't Travel much

It has a lot of the functionality Im looking for, but it's a bit too heavy for someone who travels. I needed it for home/work use and I'm happy with it overall including the screen as it's a step up from the yoga 7i 14" because the 15" has 400 nit display vs just 300. It also has the rotating sound bar which improves sound quality when you use it in tent mode.

This ultra-portable, 2 in 1 convertible configuration system ways just 4.03 lbs., and provides a full-sized 15.6 Inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - FHD (1920x1080) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 500 nits and has a Glossy finish. This screen provides 100 Percent sRGB (72 Percent NTSC) color gamut for excellent color accuracy, this screen is HDR 400 and Dolby Vision certified. There is also a full-sized standard QWERTY keyboard with 10-Key Numeric Pad included. The Yoga 7i-15 has front-facing, stereo, 2W High Definition (HD) Audio system speakers with Dolby Atmos sound enhancement software.

I tried several others they had, but the feel of the keyboard of the Lenovo was the best out of all of them! The screen images are clear and sharp and the color is exceptionally brilliant. Shutdown is almost instantaneous, too; no waiting for the slow shutdown of my old laptop. I’m going to love working with this laptop!

It’s light and this screen size is great for carrying and traveling. Screen colors and brightness is great, and performance speed is great to handle multi tasking of opening video conferencing and working on emails.

Do not buy if battery life is a big deal to you

The screen is beautiful, the speakers are good, I love typing on the keyboard. Its fast and snappy, which makes it unfortunate that I'm going to have to return it. The advertised battery life of this laptop is 16 hours (which most people will know is an exaggeration), but the battery life truly is awful. Just testing it out using only google chrome shows how bad it is. I completely depleted the laptop to 0 percent battery in under 4 hours, only using chrome and listening to music on Spotify. That's less than 1/4 of the advertised battery life. As much as I wish I could keep this laptop, I just can't. Being a college student and a commuter, I just can't compromise with the battery. However, if battery isn't a big deal to you, I'd say go ahead and buy it. It makes up for it in those other areas that matter.

Posted .If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Definitely worth the money and it was cheaper than the other Dell models I was looking at. I'm not a gamer so my use is pretty basic. From streaming movies when I'm traveling to doing presentations, this really does perform very well.
