    I liked my Yoga 7i 16" enough to buy a second one for my daughter’s schoolwork. Mine lives on a dock, which probably spared it, but hers wasn’t so lucky: under a year in, the hinge separated when opening the lid and lightly cracked the screen. After seeing multiple threads from other users with similar hinge problems, I’m disappointed and looking to switch back to Dell.

    Terrible Service from Best Buy

    Product is good. Best Buy service was terrible. This was shipped without a power cord and Best Buy refused to provide one. Ridiculous.

    Test before you leave the store on Open Box

    Bought open-box "Excellent" it wouldn't boot up brought it back in and they said it was over heating and could send it to be fixed. We could trade it in for another open box or new but the price had skyrocketed and we'd have to pay the difference.

    Gave away my pickup order

    Ordered a pc online for in-store pickup and the best buy on Maryland gave the item away to someone else. Could have been avoided if they asked for gov id but store policy says they don't have. Person then took the items and returned them here in exchange for gift cards. Currently out the money, cannot understand how they can just give items that are paid for to anybody without I'd. Either gross incompetence or seasonal employee stealing customer's purchases. Filed a police report.

    This Laptop is Crap... Can't Return or Exchange!

    Bought less than 4 months ago. Started using it only a couple of weeks ago and screen stop lighting up. Contacted Best Buy to return or exchange and was sent to Lenovo. On hold with Lenovo over 25 minutes and still no rep has answered! Don't buy!!! It's crap!!!

    Purchased the Lenovo 7I After 3 weeks the cursor keeps disappearing, the screen has flipped over and upside down. The final issue, it has turned off and will not start back. Ive had it 45 days and BEST BUY is of no help. Will never buy lenovo or at best buy again

To start, you can follow the step-by-step troubleshooting guide from Lenovo Support on this topic https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht510410-troubleshooting-no-power-issues, which after getting the laptop turned on, immediately applying updated software. To look for updates, you can do so via the Settings app > Windows Update > Check for updates. Next, you can check for driver updates via the Lenovo Vantage app on your Yoga and selecting the Check for updates button on the homepage of Vantage.

    Bad Speakers Crackling and Scratchy

    I purchased this in Excellent Condition open box but the speakers are defective. When you increase or decrease the volume you hear a crackling, scratchy sound. You can also hear that crackling sound when you watch videos and turn up the volume.

    Deceiving Computer Name 7i its NOT i7 processor.

    1. I got in the trap of laptop name 7i and its not a intel i7 processor. Its my fault basically not the read computer processor description in detail I assumed its intel i7 and keept and opened after 15 days due to holidays engements etc. 2. Its heavy due to metal or aluminum body which gets hot quickly

    I would not recommend this laptop. We own a Lenovo PC and have had success with it, but his laptop froze and would not boot up. After the geek squad got it to work. It froze again. I went away from Lenovo and back to Dell – good decision.

    It is extremely slow in operation. Printing takes forever. 67 page document took over an hour. The transfer of documents, programs etc from the old computer is no where as good as transfers in the past.

    After you shut down the computer and then later on, I came back to it and it was on so this computer is nothing but a joke

    Nice laptop, especially when it is on sale

    Overall, it's a nice laptop. I have had it for about a week now. I do not like that the power button is on the side. It also sticks out just a little bit. If you are working with it actually on your lap like I do sometimes, it is possible to accidentally hit that power button if you happen to place your hands on the sides of the laptop to shift it over or move it. I have done it twice now in the past hour. It doesn't shut all the way down, but it does go into a little sleep mode and you have to get logged back in. I will have to go into the settings and see if I can adjust it.

    Fully meets expectations. Much faster than the broken Dell (hinge and screen failure) it replaced, although has twice the memory, so should be faster. Great screen resolution too. Haven't used in tablet touch screen mode, only as a laptop computer.
