Its powerful processor handles every task with ease. However, the battery life is disappointing; it lasts less than 5 hours even when set to power-efficient mode. Great school laptop

It has some issues I can't explain yet. Keyboard is far up. CSR on the phone told me I had to pay a restocking fee. I guess he thought it was very funny. I did not. I had to bring one laptop back as the hinges were very stiff. I brought it in the store and asked them what they thought. They said it's not supposed to be like that, to return it. So I did and I got a slightly different one. I think they didn't have the exact same one or something. I was within that 10 or 14 day return window. I went to the Best Buy when I got back home and talked to that manager about it, he said I should not have been told that. Not sure if it's off my bill or not. I just think it is insane they'd tell that anyway when I brought it back based on store employees suggestions. If you call a Best Buy store, it routes you to some place on the other side of the planet. It's terrible! It's a waste of time.

Perfect laptop

I had no idea until I got it home. That because my previous computer was a Lenovo everything from my laptop transferred to my new laptop. It was so easy and I love how it goes from a laptop to a tablet.

Wasnt compatible with a few programs/sites and accessories without some troubleshooting and tinkering. Which for a newer computer shouldn't be an issue especially for less technologically inclined user such as those of my household. Same computer but smaller has same cost which doesnt make sense. the camera area is raised like a hump instead of straight even though when folded back it is balancing on that pivot which would spell disaster from the slightest jolt.

Regarding the battery life—there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.
