Even the previous version i had survived me dropping it several times. This one was fine and the price was great for what I needed from it. The one star is more for best buy than the computer. Took it too geek squad, they googled the issue and sent it off for repair. And it never made it back. But because no one cares, they are still "opening an investigation". the computer shows it's been on a fedex truck on the way for a week and a half now and no one thinks that's suspicious yet. So i am out a computer for going on a month now, i only had it 6 months, and at the end of all this they might issue a credit and now the computer price has gone on. I just want someone to care about this computer like they did when they were trying to get me to buy it. Once they have your money, no one cares.

Absolutely Wrong

Though the young man who helped me was very polite, I bought exactly the wrong device. I went back the next day. The man at the Geek desk told me I had the wrong device and that I needed a refund. He sent me a man who was polite but misinformed me that I just needed to download some other programs and then my device would work with my knitting programs. It didn't. I spent an hour with the Geek Squad by phone and succeeded in getting icons on my laptop that take me to the websites to download my programs but then I read, not available for this device. So I am now stuck with something I have to pay for but I cannot use. This is unacceptable.

The only issue I've had is with Best Buy and their price match. I've called twice over 2 months waiting for my $372 refund. Not happy about that. Last call i had to talk to 5 people.

The touch screen sometimes doesn't work. The "mouse" is too sensitive and jumps around too fast. These are issues which Geek Squad can help with but are not user friendly easy to figure out on one's own. The holiday price was excellent.

If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem.
