  • Battery goes dead, even when shut off and no use!

    Little different than my older computer need some getting used to. What I don’t get is I was told not to leave the power plug in all the time but when I unplug it and don’t even use it while and it is shut down. the battery goes dead??

      To start, due to the nature of lithium-ion batteries, which this model uses, even when power is not drawn, battery charge can dwindle over time naturally. If you feel your battery drain may be abnormal, this could be due to quick boot settings for your system.     This is an excellent laptop. It does everything I need it to do and set up was a breeze. Ots slim and lightweight and I love the different ways the screen can be configured. It’s a great value for the price. I’m very happy with my purchase.

    Easy to use, but tends to freeze periodically which requires a restart. Battery recharges quite quickly which is very nice. Love the shutdown process - very swift, and afterwards when ready to use, laptop restarts on its own once opened up. Was not expecting that feature!

      Regarding the freezing you're encountering, first, we apologize for this inconvenience. To try to resolve this, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue.

      To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button.
      Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button.
      If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem.
      We then recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.

    I love my new new laptop never had a laptop before, but this one is exceptional. The salesman Al Recommended it for my use. But not was not happy with the service from the geek squad, setting it up and transferring everything over.

    Feels well to use. Laptop and tablet duality is nice. Speakers, mic, and video quality and very good. The only issue I have is how short the battery life is. You have to use it in battery saving mode if you want it to last more than 4 hours.
