    Great 2 n 1 alternative to the GalaxyBook 5. Some apps seem to lock up when I am processing a lot of things which is just not avoidable for me. There's likely settings, etc that I could manipulate to address this but I haven't had the time,.

Regarding the performance issue you mentioned, every system has its limitations and if you are processing 'a lot of things' as you shared, this could be the cause of the problem--too many cooks in the kitchen. Although, we'd like to work with you to ensure your system is running optimally to try to improve your sentiments.

      To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue by overwriting older, buggy software. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

    This is the fastest and best computer I have had in quite awhile. It connects easily and has face recongnition to sign in. Less typing of passwords is a plus.

    I bought this for my hi school senior son who is going off to college now. He's really excited and happy to have this laptop device, although not one of the top brands the components are common across multiple laptops and evidently the performance is comparable.

    The laptop has clear images good quality the only down side that I have noticed is the battery doesn’t last all day and seems to drain fast but other then that small thing you can’t hear the fans and I don’t regret purchasing.

      Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.
