Crapped Out

Just hope it is a lemon and not all are like that. Now we have to deal with getting it serviced in a hurry, which is very difficult.

Customer service lacking

The cursor has disappeared numerous times. We’ve checked all settings, looked for driver updates, reset to default settings, rebooted the computer and nothing. My son bought this for his first year college because the salesman talked him out of a MacBook and he’s regretted it ever since. He has difficulty completing assignments with ease and has been using the computer lab in campus.

Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.). 2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual. 3. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. A recent update should resolve the cursor issue (apologies for more updates since this has been a pain point for you. We wish to make sure you have the latest software possible). Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting. S L O O O W after a few days (but typical...)

I don't know if it's the Lenovo software or just bad engineering. Also, why do we have to get hit up with buying software to keep our Lenovo up to date right after we purchase it? Probably going to swear off Lenovo products for the future.

We suggest that you check for software and drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

Good but freezes often.

Cart Shipping Time vs Actual Shipping Terrible

Cart gave me an option of free three-day delivery or two-day delivery for $30. I chose the 3-day delivery which fit into my project deadline. Just hours later i was sent a text saying it would take NINE days. No explanation. This is an example of bad customer service. Please do better.
