    I hadn't updated my laptop in 9 years. What a difference almost a decade makes! Setup on this device was pretty seamless, incorporating things like transferring from my old previous device seamless, and incorporating functionality that I'm used to with my Apple devices, like facial recognition and multiple-device linkage, standard. Nice!

    Does what it's supposed to. Sometimes it needs to sleep and restart for the arrow keys to work (think doom-scrolling). Used the fold feature for sheet music, does well.

    I'm having random issues with this in regards to speed. My old dinosaur Dell laptop was faster but has similar abilities. It takes 5-10 seconds to connect with my wireless printer. I don't know if its the laptop or whether Geek Squad didn't do a good job setting it up. I'm having someone else come in to try to resolve the issues.

  • Keyboard failed in less than 9 months

    I purchased this laptop in January, and my keyboard had failed by September. Less than 9 months and the machine had issues. I had never dropped the laptop and was very careful with transporting it, protective case, and all. THANK GOODNESS I purchased Best Buy Total or else I would have had to pay out of pocket to diagnose and fix a brand-new computer. Even though Geek Squad was helpful at the store, it still took 3 weeks to get my fixed machine back. They replaced the bottom part of the laptop with a refurbished piece (visible dents and scrapes) which is not something you want on a machine you paid nearly $700 for less than a year ago. Don't buy this laptop unless you purchase insurance with it.
