Great laptop, but a little big

My only concern is that it's a little big - I knew this going into it, but I was unable to get a smaller laptop within my budget. However, it is pretty thin.

Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

Had to make too many visits to the geek squad so they could let us know, one thing at a time, this must be done in order for this to work. Would not purchase this brand again and would not recommend to anyone.

Regarding battery life, if it suddenly has dropped, we recommend reviewing what applications may be new in use or recently applied updates to discover the source of this battery drain. Otherwise, we recommend using Lenovo's thermal profiles to adjust system power settings, including to a battery saving mode that can make a difference. In order to do so, press Fn +Q to cycle through the different modes until you land on the one with a battery icon and a leaf to take advantage of this. We are glad to read that you are otherwise satisfied with your purchase.
