Utilizes all the new goodies with this awesome piece of tech

I purchased this to replace a Lenovo that was ~18 months old with a cracked screen, it seems to be a common problem so I selected the Y900 because it had a sturdy looking hinge system. After just 15 days though and closing the lid, the screen cracked along the bottom. Best Buy won't stand behind it and I'm told Lenovo won't either. Big box stores that don't provide customer service aren't worth visiting. Goodby BestBuy.

This was more than I expected. The screen is nice and big.

This is a huge amount of power in a very slim package. It's about the same size as a MacBook air. A little thicker in the front and a little thinner in the back. Plenty of power for anyone's basic needs. Very fast.

I bought this laptop a few months ago and was quite happy at first. Then I found out the keyboard doesn't work properly. I'm typing quite fast and letters are often repeated despite setting are on the lowest level. Well, I’m trying to type slowwer (which as you can see doesn't help much). Then I have noticed the surface is super easy to scratch, you can see this on the picture. Well I could live with that too but then when opening the screen from the left hand side the screen just cracked. You can google "Lenovo Yoga cracked screen", this was a problem in other yoga series too. Standard guarantee is of course not covering cracked screen so I have to live with it too. All I can do now is to warn others to stay away from all Lenovo Yoga series. Look twice before you leap…

I shopped quite a bit when buying a laptop this time around. I wanted the Skylake processor in a lightweight laptop to replace my Thinkpad that was dying. I bought this AND a new Thinkpad with similar price and specs (but no QHD on the T-Pad). The Yoga 900 was the winner because of its light weight and amazing battery life. I returned the Thinkpad. I'm mostly surfing the web, but I update a couple big financial and sales spreadsheets and use a bit of graphics and word as well for my work. For people complaining about the power cord/charge brick, $1.29 will buy a cheap extension cord and you'll have an awesome 15' set up - besides I plug it in at night and it usually lasts all day. 4K has some issues with very few apps/programs (GoDaddy notifier and Zillow, for example), but I expect the apps will be updated soon. I don't find the bloatware excessive compared to other machines - not obtrusive so far. I do see repeating letters on the keyboard (I corrected about five in this review) but it is something I can live with. I do agree that the touchpad is less tactile than other machines, but after two weeks, I'm totally used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore. (I turned off the autozoom, as the two-finger scroll and right click frequently would result in a zoom event.) The screen is seems plenty bright to me and colors seem fine. I typically run it at about 66 percent brightness to extend battery life - which is awesome, btw. The touchscreen seems really precise and I've never felt it was lacking for speed. No connectivity issues, and the Bluetooth seems to work a lot better than on my old Thinkpad. It isn't perfect - I'd love the Thinkpad keyboard with the lightweight and thinness of this machine! - but after cross shopping and trying several machines I selected this one and I'm satisfied.

This laptop is everything that you expect and want out of a laptop. The solid state drive means getting in your computer fast,and the 2 in 1 makes it compatible for playing games like a tablet.

very light and great display I also bought USB Type C to HDMI/USB Type A adapter, which is very useful.

Great screen, nice keyboard, good processor. Had a lot of applications running at once and it was still super fast. Speakers were a nice touch. Battery could be better but no complaints

Very lightweight, great graphics,like the touchscreen and of course the Intel I7 makes a difference. I just started using it so I don't know all the features yet - am very impressed.

This laptop is super light. Easy to carry around. However, I am not so sure about the sturdiness

The Lenovo Yoga 900 is a fast, quiet machine that runs all my radio programmers quickly and without flaws. The graphics are great, and it is easily the best PC I have ever owned.

I love this laptop. Very fast, the video resolution is crystal clear, very light weight (under 3 lbs) sleek design. My only issue is that the battery runs out quickly.

Ultra portable and yet powerful to handle any task that you throw at it including Office 2016. The screen is beautiful. Highly recommended to anyone who's looking for a 2 in 1.
