I returned my recently purchased Surface Pro 4 because of some issues that I (and according to several websites, others as well) was having. I decided to purchase this YOGA 900 instead and must say that it is, so far, a wonderful 2-in-1. It is well built and light and claims to be able to achieve 9 hours of battery life. I haven't tested that quote just yet, but can tell just from the bit of time that I have had with the machine that it is better than the Surface Pro. The keyboard is superb and the touchscreen is responsive. The trackpad seems to function fine and there is no lag (anywhere). It is quite snappy when switching between applications and seems to be able to handle multiple tasks without a hitch. I've had the 900 for a brief amount of time and if this initial experience is any indicator, I will be keeping this beauty. On a side note, the watch-type hinge functions smoothly and feels very sturdy. I do not foresee any issues with this aspect of the hardware but of course, time will tell.

Aside from the chunky bezel, I think this is a fantastic computer. The screen is fantastic quality.

I love this computer. Great quality, wonderful touch screen!

I am super satisfied with this laptop!! Ultra portable, super slim, high resolution, super fast speed and performance!! No noise and no heating issue!! Battery lasts for about 12 hours in 'Battery Saving' mode without losing performance at all !! No need to carry the power chord or any extra charger!! The issue that the screen brightness keeps changing continuously, I have found how to set up this into fixed brightness by searching a bit. Go to 'graphics properties', then click on 'power' option from Intel Graphics Control Panel. Click on 'On Battery' option from the left of that window, then click to select 'Disable' the 'Display Power Saving Technology' and save the setting. That's all you need to set up the screen brightness fixed. You also should make sure to select 'Maximum Battery Life' on the top of this panel to enhance the battery lasting. and also don't forget to update all the software and Windows!! The little but ignoring cons of this laptop are first, the power chord is not long enough and it covers the outlet for its huge size, and the second is the keyboard as the buttons are kind of less-smooth that need be pressed hard to get worked. But these are not that much bothering. Finally, I am overall happy and strongly recommend to all for all purpose!!

My second one for college students and the solid state hard drive is very stable and worth it.

This laptop is perfect size, boots up quickly, and swtching to tablet mode is a great advantage.

1. The display displayed advertising office & other products but I had to return to buy office. 2. My purchase came with Kaspersky but this product seems to block Google sometimes. Kaspersky is a pain to have.

If there is anything better than Yoga 900 then its X1 carbon else 900 is the best.
