Don't buy this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for college. 6 months of using it, the charger broke. I used my warranty for it and got a new charger. It took them 2 months to deliver the charger. After a year and 6 months with it, the screen won't turn on. I would advise anyone buying a laptop to stay clear of Lenovo products. Their customer service is terrible and products are very faulty.

Great but apps too small
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the features but Microsoft has many of its apps too small to read and use effectively. Needs fixed :/

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 900-13. With regard to the size of the tools within Microsoft applications like Word, down on the bottom right side of your screen when the program is open, there is a slider that will allow you to increase the size of the screen, zooming in as you need to.

Lenovo Yoga
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before purchasing my Lenovo Yoga 900 I read a tremendous amount of reviews. Shame on me for not heading them. My Yoga's screen froze and eventually turned black after less than 6 days of light use. I returned it to Best Buy. I explained what happened to the customer service person and he said that he would take it to the geeks. The geeks were all busy so he attempted to turn it on. I showed him that it was already on and that the screen was black. I said to him "that's the problem". He said "I see that" he told me to go ahead and pick up another one. I said I would find something else. Some of the reviews I had read complained of the same thing. I should have listened to them.....

Garbage Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an expensive laptop, and I expected high quality. After the first 3 months, it started having issues with the wireless adapter. Not related to the router as other laptops have no issues with connecting or staying connected. Battery life is poor. Nowhere near the 9 hours it said it should get. Runs down in 4 hours with normal use, no streaming. Keyboard started with the phantom key issue after 6 months. Keys on the keyboard started to cave in from normal use after 1 year. Screen began flickering after 1 year. Case began began caving in over the power adapter after 1 year due to plugging power cable in and out from normal use. This is a terrible laptop, I am sorry I bought it. Good thing I bought the extended warranty with Best Buy to have this junker repaired. I will go back to a Dell in the future.

Started having issues after about three weeks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Lenovo worked well for about the first three weeks, then started having intermittent problems with the sound and touchscreen. We made sure all drivers were at the most current level, but still the problems persisted, so we brought it in to Geek Squad at Best Buy. They looked it at it, determined it was likely a hardware problem and helped us quickly exchange it for another brand that has since been very dependable. We cannot complement Geek Squad/Best Buy enough for the high level of customer service they provide.

No buyer's remorse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took some time to get to know this product but I'm really glad I did. The i7 processor, internal HD, and the onboard memory brings this thing to life faster than my iPad. Once I got used to the key placement (functions are different from what I was used to# my comfort level took off. Very long battery life and brilliant screen resolution. Rock solid construction. Only thing I have issue with is the lack of ease in which it opens #two handed job without exception). Just what I needed, and I didn't pay $2,500 for the Surface equivalent. Highly recommend!

So Far, It is good.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product a few days ago, and this is what I think about it so far. Pros: -The display is nice, I feel like it should get brighter, and unless you disable the power save feature in the Intel Graphics properties option, the screen will constantly adjust it's brightness. -The "watchband" like mechanism is nifty, and applies an accurate amount of pressure to not make it seem so flimsy, but allow it to get into all modes flawlessly. -The specs for the price goes unmatched, which, could potentially leave me to suggest there are some underlying issues, but I will see what happens. -It is snappy, load screens are short, mouse clicks; (when registered) are quick, and I have not felt like I have had to wait too long for anything. -The touch finish to the outside is nice, and the rubberized finish to the keyboard allows me to have comfort when typing. -Touch is responsive, screen has a nice feel in tablet mode. Cons: -I question the battery life. Though I usually work on a chromebook so their battery life is exceptional, I still feel the estimated 9 hours is an overestimate. -The keyboard is not well spaced out, now it may be me still adjusting to a new keyboard, but the shift key on the right-handed side is much too small, it is a constant issue with me, but I feel I will overcome it with time. -The trackpad needed a refresh on the driver as the gestures did not work out of the box. Additionally when you click on the far rights or left on the trackpad it does not register, I'm not sure if it is a design flaw, or improvement to help ensure when you want to click something. -The bloatware and adware Lenovo is infamous for is not in this iteration, however there is still some and it is unpleasant to have to remove everything from Lenovo immediately. Ultimately, I pulled the trigger on a "high-end" device and to this point have not been disappointed. I find the nitpicky like issues people have come with any purchase and you have to choose your trade-offs. For the money I find this to be a close to a perfect purchase for me, (a business major senior in college). I do digress and say that the 4-star rating comes from me not having the time to thoroughly go through this laptop, and will have a much more thorough review in the later weeks. PSA: I will be returning this current model for the higher-specced version. I purchased this version for $1199, and they cut the prices by $100. So for $100 you can double your ram and your storage, and while normally, this would be fine for me, $100 for twice the ram and storage is a steal. I will have a more thorough review on the higher-specced version so check it out!

Bad experiance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We thought this was going to be a great computer for my daughter, once she got it home and set up, it only turned on one time and then shut down, we had to return it and purchase a completely different model and of course spend more $$ we then looked up the reviews and realized we were better off getting her a different model.

Not pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard great reviews on this Lenova. I might have gotten the one bad apple in the bunch but it was very problematic. My daughter has a Lenova and she loves hers.

Posted .There may be drivers that need to be updated on your system. You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers to look for driver updates for your specific system. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes or download any new software. You may also want to turn off automatic updates to your system. This will give you the opportunity to create restore points before you allow the update. I hope this improves your experience:

Stopped working in less than a month use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited about my new ultra light lap top since I was traveling for a few weeks, needed to work and the Yoga had very good reviews. After about 15 days it stopped charging and would not turn on. Upon returning from my trip (about 1 month after purchase), despite having purchased the best buy geek program, I was told that it could not be replaced since it had been too long since purchase. I am still waiting to hear from the repair center...

A Great Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Lenovo Yoga 900 several days ago and love it. So far, absolute no problems. It isn't noisy and doesn't heat up, which is extremely important to me. When I saw it on sale for $999, I immediately ordered it online. It's fast and the start up is amazing. The screen resolution is vibrant and I haven't had any flickering like some have mentioned. It's such an improvement over the Lenovo Yoga Pro 3. The i7 is so much better than the M processor. I did update Windows 10 and the drivers. I've played Netflix and YouTube for many hours without a flicker. It runs great. I originally purchased the HP Spectre 360, which I immediately returned because after 20 minutes of browsing the internet, it started heating up and the fan was noisy, even after updating everything. For $1,200, I don't think I should have these problems right out of the box. The Lenovo wins hands down! The SD card only goes in half way, which I don't like. It wasn't enough of a problem to not give the Lenovo 5 stars. I highly recommend the Lenovo 900.

Don't buy this computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is defective. The USB ports will die within the first 6 months of use. Guess what it will take Best Buy 3-4 weeks to get the issue fixed and their solution to not having a computer is to buy a new one.

Posted .We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the USB ports. Because all of your USB ports did work and now don't, it sounds like there was a Windows 10 automatic update that is conflicting with the drivers for the USB ports. There may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. Here is the link:

Hate this computer and windows 10!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to get an Ipad but was talked into getting Lenovo Yoga. I have had a terrible time getting QuickBooks to work, can't see the print is so small! Then I couldn't get synced with my new HP printer.

Still a Few Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this laptop/tablet and want to make it work. I am now on my third one having taken the first 2 back to BB. The first problem is evidently a new Windows 10 "enhancement". Sometimes the unit will go dim and show "plugged in, not charging". After 45 minutes on the phone with Lenovo support they finally told me to send it to the support center or take it back to BB. Luckily I am an Elite member and I had it less than 30 days so I took it back and they gave me another one. After 3 days the new one started doing the same thing. So I called Lenovo and after talking to 2 different people and spending 2 hours on the phone they came to the same conclusion. Send it in or take it back. I finally a found a thread that talked about this issue with Windows 10 and several different brands. Evidently it is designed to do this until it drops below 95% and then it is charges. I tried it and sure enough it started charging at 94%. Unfortunately the L key was sticking really bad so I took the second unit back and I'm now on my 3rd. I really like the computer and want to make it work so hopefully the third time is the charm.
