Pros: lightweight, super thin, high resolution, just about the least expensive i7 2-in-1 with 8 GB RAM. Cons: wretched keyboard (not just the layout, but the feel, you really need to slam the keys!), too much of the screen is bezel, especially on the bottom. Summary: I've been on the road a lot for work and I like to keep my private life and my work life separate. This machine is a fantastic size... super thin and light, it is no extra burden to slip it into my backpack or laptop bag to get the separation I wanted. The keyboard is plain awful, I actually write better emails and other messages on my phone than I can on this machine. You just need to slam the keys and I can't work like that. The bottom of the screen has a LOT of wasted space. If I had planned better I would have just bought the Dell XPS 12, XPS 13, or XPS 15, but I didn't. The Yoga 900 is "good enough" for my needs, but I really do not think it stands out with this dog of a keyboard.

Got this for my daughter in her 4th year of college studying mechanical engineering. We needed something that was light and portable, yet with enough power to run engineering software. With the corei7 and ample ram, plus the touch screen, this seemed the perfect unit for her. After learning how to deal with the quirks of Windows 10, as well as the finicky external monitor setup, it's working well now. I believe there was also a tweak she needed to look up regarding sleep mode, but everything seems ok now.

Did quite a bit of review before deciding on Lenovo Yoga 900, was checking out hp 2 and 1 and hp and lenovo desktops as well. Decided laptop gives more flexibility if don't want to sit at desk all the time and got great performance intel I-7, digital drive and 4k screen, more than desktop for same price. And a great hinge when, you want to convert to a tablet, along with better performance, multi-tasking and a great screen. Had for two months and was second guessing the decision during period but when evaluating whether to go different direction, always came back to same decision. Every time I use, I am glad I purchased it.

I've only had it a few weeks now but so far, everything works great. Its fast, and super light.

This thing is ridiculously fast with the SSD, 8GB of RAM, and an i7 processor. It boots in literally seconds. I could not be happier with my choice. The design is sexy too.

Only complaint so far is the short power cord.Issues with Windows 10 but not computer's fault

Brought open box precertified by Geeek Squad so received a discount. Got good laptop at a good price. Was working well at first. When had to load software from college it would not run. I took back to best buy and they reloaded the windows 10 software the laptop came with. They fixed the problem but unfortunately I had to pay $40. I Was disappointed they charged for this. It was a recent new purchase.

For 1199. (the original price of this computer) was an absolutely absurd amount to pay for what you get. But for 599 or half of the MSRP, i felt like it was too good to pass up. It's quick, light and doubles as a laptop. Definitely a winner in my opinion. Try to go for the models with a dedicated graphics card!

No problems so far! We bought an open box item and it was hardly used. All we had to do was delete the previous owners information, refresh, and reinstall the software and it saved us almost $200 :)

My husband and I both pretty good with computers however this one has been pretty challenging. We had to exchange the first one we bought because the touchpad didn't work well. The new one works better but not great. We have to really press hard on the touch pad to make it work. We have hooked up a blue tooth mouse and that has made a big difference. After a month we are still having challenges installing but aren't sure if it is the computer or Windows 10. Look out Geek Squad...here we come!

I was very impressed with how powerful this laptop is for the weight. It's been running very fast with no issue and the battery lasts for so long.

I love my new Lenovo, Yoga 900. This lap top is user friendly, and handles everything I need as a personal computer. This is the second one I have had. I just upgraded a little bit to a newer model. Very dependable. I would highly recommend.

Very light, great look from outside to inside. Fast and very reliable. I start to like Lenovo products especially the new charging system.

The track pad on the computer is a bit noisey but the versatility of the computer over rules the loudness. Good computer for a college student.

I like the versatility of the 2-in-1. The screen size when it's in laptop mode could be larger.

the yoga 900 is the perfect "instrument" for me.... spreadsheets, quotations, emails, videos etc for work web searches and photography stuff for play 1/2 laptop ... and 1/2 tablet with NO compromises !!! The tech team on the floor and the geek squad answered ALL of my questions and set up my yoga 900 so I was totally go walking out of the store! My experience could not have been more positive THANK YOU!!!

This is a nice two in one laptop . It's nice to have the flexibility however, all in all prefer the traditional laptop.

I've owned Toshiba Satellite and Dell laptops. Work laptops have been HP Pro & Dell. My initial preference was Dell; however, I love the Lenovo. and it's a toss-up between the two. After 5 weeks, Lenovo is inching ahead.

So I mostly got this computer to take notes with during class. It is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to any college student. Just also use some sort of portable hard drive for extra space. Great purchase!
