Irony is that the update was recommended by Lenovo. I believe the Lenovo software is released without proper testing. After the BIOS update, it wouldn't boot. Unfortunately, this happened in India, where Lenovo service is really bad. The service center asked for proof of purchase and a copy of my passport!! Sorry Lenovo, you haven't earned that level of trust. After 3 days of making me run around, they reformatted everything. My data is lost. Needed to reinstall all other software. Thanks to cloud storage, I could recover some data, but work done offline is gone and the hours spent in getting the computer aren't coming back! If you're a traveler or if you value your time, I wouldn't recommend buying a Lenovo device any more. I have been a Lenovo loyalist (this was my 7th Lenovo laptop purchase -- 5 yoga pros!!). This is the second time when Yoga pro became dead. The other one still remains dead. I'm a techie, and opt for the best products, which Lenovo offered in the past. Unfortunately, in the recent times, Lenovo quality has dwindled. Customer service has become worse. Good luck!

Posted .Always create restore media once you have your system setup the way you plan on using it, including 3rd party programs. Create restore points before you allow any update. Additionally, the Yoga 910-14 is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.

Posted .This sounds like a software compatibility issue. Either installed programs or an automatic Windows 10 update. With regard to the issues you mention with your device, there may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point.
