failed in under 2 years

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was excited upon purchase of the Yoga 910, 1TB, and for the first year met all the needs and expectations desired which balanced high home pc requirements vs. frequent travels. Found the display size perfect balance, screen resolution superb, and sound more than adequate. But all is null and void with a failed motherboard in under 2 years, and for spending 1800 USD+ on pc and accessories, it's unacceptable. Plus Lenovo no longer services it's pc's. All pc's are handed off to third parties, And to date i have not found a third party which can source parts, MB, to fix this pc.. I sourced myself, was able to power up the pc, but can' find a new MB to read the SSD, and i am on the second MB.. independent testing/troubleshooting validated MB problems. A pc at this cost should last well into 5 years.... Buyer beware.

At first, I was impressed because it's a gorgeous looking machine and the specs were fantastic. For some reason, the performance ended up being sluggish on basic things and I just kept finding it to be "not quite good enough" for the money in just about every respect. It doesn't offer a great touch experience. Even after multiple calibrations, it felt like it wasn't registering accurately. Every stylus I tried had a horrible time writing on the screen as well. It couldn't draw a straight line without breaking up multiple times.

Posted .This system is not compatible with any active/digital pen. You can use an external monitor by using the USB-s port on this device with a USB-c to HDMI cable.

Unfortunately, after working on it for some time and hitting the PG UP instead of the right shift I returned this PC and purchased another brand. I had never intended to use it as a tablet so I do not have any comments upon that functionality.

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
Worst Computer Ever

Best Buy ended up having to completely reimburse me for the computer nearly 2 years after my purchase. Luckily I had Geek Squad, otherwise I would have been out $2,000!!! DO NOT BUY IT

Posted .The normal operating temperature of the Yoga 910-14 is between 100 and 150-degrees Fahrenheit. The onboard fan will keep this device within those temperatures under normal usage. If you feel the device is running hotter than this range, we recommend you bring the device in to your local Best Buy Store and have the Geek Squad assess the issue.
