The problem is the shift key on the right side of the keyboard is not where it is on a traditional keyboard. I kept hitting the wrong key as a result. I couldn't deal with typing because every sentence was painful.

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

This is probably a coincidence that my last day to return it was 2 days ago since my problems basically started y-day. My main issues are : 1. Screen flickering 2. Unstable Wi-Fi 3. Erratic fan that turns on suddenly and loudly w/o any "hardcore" use. Less pressing issue is an annoyingly short "shift" button. I'm keeping it up to date and secured, main use is academical browsing with occasional Netflix/FB so I'm really suprised that those issues came up. A short browsing revealed the fact that those issues are common among other Lenovo 910 users so I'm kind of bummed. Pros are obvious - it''s really really pretty and slim. It's way better than my 5 y old cheap Asus. I'll be fighting to bring it back to it's usual self but it's not issues one would like to be dealing with with less than a 1 month old computer.

Posted .Since the system was working as it should up until recently, it sounds as though there was an automatic Windows update that has a conflict with older drivers. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 910-14. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
One Hiccup

The restart got hung up and I could not turn off the machine no matter what I did. Finally I held in the power button for 15 seconds and it shut down. Only owned it for 3 weeks. Don't really use touch screen much at all. Has a powerful processor and seems sturdily built (like a MAC). Bought it because I wanted a Windows machine in the house.

Great Windows 10 2-in-1, Right shift key awkward

Replacing a mbp and iPad, it powerful enough to complete all tasks (not a gamer here). Switches nicely between regular and tablet mode, great design overall, very sturdy, screen doesn't smudge as much as I thought it would. The shift key (right side) and camera are awkwardly placed so be sure you are comfortable with those prior to buying.

While they were always reliable, well-price laptops for business use, I have never considered Lenovo for my personal computer. I was on the verge of buying a MacBook Pro until a friend recommended the Yoga 910. I was so impressed with the processing speed, the SSD, aesthetic and functionality, screen quality and the price. After a month of ownership, I love my Yoga 910. So glad I saved +$600 my not buying the Mac.

My granddaughter needed a new/better laptop!

I asked her what she needed. Portability, memory, space, easy to use, sleek. We went to Best Buy, we shared what we needed and the service person was right on it. She asked the right questions, had a sense of humor and knew what was available. She also took into account my granddaughter's ability. It went so smoothly! She LOVES her laptop -- and I love Best Buy! :-)
