This one went on sale and I decided on it. My use is very casual browsing the internet and some apps. I find it to be very fast booting up and downloading, which is perfect for me. I like the backlit keyboard and sturdy construction. The 14" display is a plus for its size. Not a game machine, but excellent for day to day use.

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

Quirky keyboard is a dealbreaker

There are no dedicated keys for Page Up and Page Down, and the right shift key is in a weird place. I couldn't get used to that. and wound up taking it back after a week.

It's also fast to boot, open programs, wake from sleep, and shutdown. The only con is the touchpad (as others have mentioned): It's sensitive and getting the hang of left- and right-click is tricky even after changing the trackpad settings.

Great laptop for what I needed

Really, my only problems with it are that the fans act up quickly and sometimes scrolling on Google Chrome acts up. Otherwise, it's powerful, quick, responsive, and a great laptop.
