It has supposedly premium components based on specs, but definitely under performs. Tablet hinging leaves something to be desired. It works ok, but has had some irritating quirks. If it cost 700 instead of over a 1000 dollars, would be a better value.

After evaluating the Yoga 910 at store and reading all the reviews for similar models between all the brands, I decided to purchase this Lenovo 910. Pro: I'm happy about the performance. Nice compact, fast, light and durable laptop. Great display. Con: 1. No SD card reader or HDMI connection. You have purchase a hub to have ethernet port, HDMI connections and the hub seems quite expensive. But they are just nice to have. 2. The shift button on the right side not so popular, but I can get used to it. 3. The real problem is the fan running problem not the fan noise problem that many people complained. I started this Yoga 910 after 7 hours of shutdown rest and started to use Microsoft edge to browse the internet with a anti virus program running in the background. In only 10 minutes at the most, fan started to run continuously for more than 5 minutes until I stopped the edge. This is not a normal fan running to release the heat, this is a problem. I didn't believe some people's complain until I ran into this problem and this happened to me for more than 3 times in different occasions. I downloaded Google chrome and started another evaluation. Conclusion: I love this machine and tend to keep it. But I am still evaluating this machine. If the fan continuously running problem still occurs after I switched to use Google chrome, I will have no choice to return it. I will come back to update my review later.

Posted .We have not heard of the fan being a problem on this particular model of the Yoga 910-14. There may be power management and BIOS driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well.
