Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 920-14. Normally, when you unplug the system it will change to a more conservative power configuration, this could be causing your video lag issue when on battery. You can change this in the Control Panel Power settings on your device. You can get to these settings by clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "Control Panel" in the search window. Select Control Panel from the list. In the Control Panel window that opens, type "Power" in the Control Panel Window search box at the top right of the Control Panel Window. It enter and select "Edit power plan" from the list. You will see the power settings for your device currently. Check the power settings for On Battery. Make sure this is set to match what the Plugged In power settings are. When you are finished making adjustments, click "Save" at the bottom right of the window.

The i7 processor performs well, the screen looks great, the new style of hinge that Lenovo is using on newer Yoga models is a HUGE improvement over older models (2017 and older). The laptop is surprisingly sturdy considering the size and Yoga functionality. Windows 10 is a dirty monster, but that is no fault of the laptop.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Awesome laptop

It's got great features and lots of storage along with power to spare. Very intuitive and user friendly plus I really like the size and weight of the machine.
