⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently purchased the Lenovo Yoga 9i 14" 2.8K OLED Touch 2-in-1 Laptop with Pen, and I couldn't be happier about my decision. This laptop is an absolute powerhouse, exceeding all my performance, design, and functionality expectations.
First and foremost, the 2.8K OLED touch display is stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the images are sharp. Whether watching a movie, editing photos, or browsing the web, display quality always impresses. The touch functionality is smooth and responsive, making it a joy to use as a traditional laptop and tablet.
The Intel Evo Platform and the Core i7-1260P processor make multitasking easy. This laptop easily handles everything I throw at it, from heavy-duty work tasks to demanding creative projects. The 16GB of memory ensures I can run multiple applications simultaneously without lag or slowdowns.
The 512GB SSD provides ample storage space for all my files and significantly speeds up boot-up and loading times. I no longer have to wait impatiently for my laptop to start or applications to open; everything happens instantly.
The inclusion of a Lenovo Pen is a fantastic bonus. It's precise and comfortable, allowing me to take notes, sketch, and annotate easily. Plus, the fact that it can be conveniently stored and charged within the laptop is a thoughtful design touch.
Now, let's talk about the design. The "Oatmeal" color option is stunning and adds elegance to the laptop. The build quality feels premium, and the 2-in-1 design provides versatility for various scenarios, whether presenting in a meeting or simply relaxing on the couch with a movie.
In terms of portability, this laptop is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. The battery life is also impressive, lasting me through a full day of use without reaching for a charger.
The pre-installed Windows 10 operating system runs smoothly on the software side. I am still waiting to encounter bloatware that could slow down performance. Lenovo's optimization and software additions complement the overall user experience.
The Lenovo Yoga 9i 14" 2.8K OLED Touch 2-in-1 Laptop with Pen is a premium, high-performing machine worth every penny. Whether you're a professional needing a powerful workhorse or a creative looking for a versatile tool, this laptop delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, sleek, and powerful 2-in-1 laptop. Lenovo has truly outdone itself with this exceptional product.

I purchased this laptop as an open box item. Unfortunately it was missing the power adapter and pen. Since those items were not disclosed as missing on the packaging label, I was able to receive an additional modest discount. I have purchased several things from best buy, including several tablet and a phone, but this is by far my favorite purchase. The build quality is outstanding, along with the performance. But what makes this purchase especially wonderful is the significant discount I received because it an open box item. Thank you best buy, without this arrangement many people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford top notch technology, now can.

I'll be honest, I had an extensive and glowing review of this laptop but the Best Buy app reset it when I went to add a picture to it. I'm sorry. Fix your app, Best Buy.
Here's the basics:
Amazing and responsive display
Thunderbolt 4/Usb 4 works with external graphics cards perfectly
USB type C charging
Class-leading performance and responsiveness
My laptop scored #1 for i7-1260p CPUs with Intel XTU
Battery life is good, as is performance on battery. But for long sessions you'll want to plug in or enter battery saver mode and minimize display brightness.
Perfect for me as a computer engineering student
It could use a dedicated graphics card, but with an eGPU, it's just fine for my needs

My MacBook died unexpectedly and I needed a replacement. I went to the store with somewhat of an idea of what I wanted (a PC, not a Mac), but I hadn’t known much about the Lenovo. The employee who took the time to work with me was awesome and answered all of my questions thoroughly. It was an excellent experience and I love this laptop. The screen is GORGEOUS. It’s fast and so far, so good!

I love it by Mason mainly surf the web I don’t use it for much business. But the monitor has great clarity in color and when you’re shopping that’s very important. It’s lightweight. I can’t say anything about it that I don’t like. I’m very happy with my purchase.

My favorite features of this Yoga 9i - great boot-up time, quick processor, OLED 2k touch screen, sound bar, and it includes a pen and case. However, the battery life is awfull! I am getting 3 to 4 hours of batter life on a full charge?!?!
The battery life is unacceptable for an EVO branded computer. I did several test of the battery, one in the battery optimized mode and one in power efficiency mode, changing the settings in both the windows settings, and in the Lenovo Vantage program settings.
I have put in a ticket with Lenovo asking about the problem with the power management of my computer - have not heard back yet... Bottomline if you need a laptop that can hold a charge, this is NOT the one to get (unless Lenovo can get a fix out).

Hello, Steve, we are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with your Yoga 9i 14. Since you have tried extending battery life by adjusting the Smart Power settings, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also, here is a link to a webpage that details various options for disabling background applications and processes that may be using battery: https://allthings.how/how-to-turn-off-background-apps-in-windows-11/ Upon making these changes, if the issue persist, we recommend reaching out again to the Premium Care team at this phone number for an update on your ticket: 888-278-9707.

The architecture seems solid, but it comes with Windows 11. Out of 16 GB memory, half is taken by the soft it comes with, so count on a solid 8 GB memory. Excellent display, perhaps too good, as it buffers at at a downstream speed of 287 Mbs. It also comes with a a pre-installed McAfee, which goes down when the machine goes to sleep and does not recover. All in all, out of the box, it looks slower than my ASUS, which is also a 16 GB and carries a C++ compiler and Visual Studio. For the time being, a very good and elegant deluxe tablet.

I was surprised by the laptop’s performance and I was skeptical about having a touchscreen but I’m very happy with this little machine. I was amazed by its performance and how quiet it is. I mostly use this laptop for business/work and frequently have to use multiple programs simultaneously but it doesn’t skip a beat. I will advise that you look into Cyber Security Software as it is vulnerable to attacks especially if you’re not aware of its vulnerabilities and not a cybersecurity professional. I’d recommend this computer so far, that’s my opinion after 2 months of using it.

Lenovo Yoga 9i 14" 2-in-1 is an exceptional laptop that delivers the best Bang for the Bucks. Great built quality, beautiful display and Amazing speakers.
This offering is easily a Macbook and XPS killer but unfortunately you have and will never hear of a Yoga because of very bad marketing. Lenovo needs to polish its software and overall presentation if they want to eat Apple pie.
The price is dropping steadily, I recommend you grab one while you still can and save $1500 from an equivalent Mac or XPS. * Don't pay $300 more for black version... same laptop.

This is one of the best Laptops I have ever had. Starting with the build quality it is so well build. Speakers are very good after enabling the Dolby atmos, and the rotating speakers is a very good move. I have the 2.8K model and its ridocolously good, with vivid colors and true blacks. The 14 inch size is very good for using this laptop as a Pad to write on. The included pen and the very goodlooking sleeve that came with the laptop makes it a complete package. I have the oatmeal color and it is not gold as it appears in the picture but it is very good in real hand. The fan barely work, I do not hear it at all, when in balanced mode. The mic is also very good. The battery is good but not marvelous and I beleive this is the case for all i7 12th generation but it gives me solid 8-9 hours may be 7 if I did heavy work on it. Overall a complete laptop, Complete package with the sleeve and a pen. This is my first lenovo, I had 2 hp laptops before, and It is highy highly recommended.

I found this to be my fav of all laptops I’ve owned. It’s far more efficient and able to handle multitasking. I will say, it was the most I’ve ever paid for a laptop as well but I have no regrets. You get what you pay for. You’ll see I added a couple task stickers in the pic on either side of the mousepad.

The staff was very nice but still very disappointed, got open box excellent and didn’t get the case and the pen. Came dirty and with scratches. Read everything so i know it’s suppose to come without scratches and with all accessory. Paid for excellent got less. Now i need to spend my time to fix this. Just doesn’t worth it. After doing a lot of research about this laptop in general, I decided to get this for the battery, OLED display, and the sound quality in a portable package.
A lot about this laptop that a lot of reviewers talk about this mostly good and as you expect. Top of the line speaker quality, solid build construction, great screen hinge hinge tension, thin and light weight, speedy performance, and has a USB A port. However there is a few things I quickly pick up a few bads I have found or became concious about. Below are some of my complaints or things.
1.
Display: This is a 2.8k resolution OLED screen. Store demos usually only have the 4K models so I tested that before getting this. This display looks really good for the punchy image quality. Great for watching detailed images or movies. IMO not so so much for solid colors. The color shows a little as over saturated to the point where it is hard to tell the find details of deep colored objects.
Another issue I found to the display is when I viewed a blank white screen. This definitely shows a faint screen door effect when you look at the display close enough. I am not sure if this is an issue with 2.8k screens but I dont recall the same with the 4k model. From a far or watching a detailed image, you cant really tell but for me I can tell since I know its always there. . .
The 3rd issue I can think of this computer needs HDR enabled. Without it, colors like the youtube logo would be so over saturated that its too vivid with the color. HDR is great and can be REALLY high brightness, but be warned that too much of it can cause screen burn in.
2.
Battery: I dont know how reviewers are getting so much battery with the 4k model. I think I can get about 6-7 hours with the most minimum comfortable setting I would set it to with all software settings set to favor battery and turning off uneeded services for web or youtube browsing on Edge. With that, I kind of wish they have an IPS model for this since it would be more to realistic to get a battery life of more than 10 hours.
3.
Design: The silver chrome shine sides is a very nice touch. However, I find myself trying not to scratch it overtime. You set the laptop down, and the side touchs the chrome side first. Its gonna scratch every time you lay it on a rough surface. Especially on something like a concrete floor. If you put it on tent mode, the shiney end fully touches the surface it rests on. There is no rubber padding or anything to protect it. Imagine sliding it around the table because you keep moving it. Its going to look ugly from the from the front with all the scratches. Just my peeve.
-----
In all, I really like this laptop for what it is able to do. But this model in particular is something I cannot recommend personally. Screen door effect bothers me but you beable to get used to it over time. Color is over saturated, not sure if this is an issue with 2.8k OLED screens. Don't get this laptop if you need a good screen.

Thank you for choosing the Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14, model number 82LU0001US. This model configuration ships with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 14 Inch (screen size measured diagonally) OLED - 2.8K (2880x1800) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 400 nits, has a Glossy Finish, a refresh rate of 90Hz. This screen provides 100 Percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut for excellent color accuracy. This screen is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and Dolby Vision Certified. If you are getting less than expected screen image quality, you can manually adjust color balance, screen brightness and contrast by using the available VESA DisplayHDR with True Black 500 settings. If you can't seem to adjust the screen brightness with the function keys on your keyboard, then you can turn to alternative means to achieve the same. Press Windows key + A to launch the Action Center on Windows 11 and use the slider next to brightness to modify it. Here is a link to more information: https://www.guidingtech.com/top-ways-to-fix-brightness-not-working-on-windows-11-laptops/. Regarding the Yoga 9i 14 model number 82LU0001US battery life, this Yoga 9i 14 model ships with Intel Evo-Certified All-Day-Battery-Life, thanks to the Integrated 75Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery installed, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 10 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Regarding setting the Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 on any surface, there are rubber feet located on the bottom of the Yoga 9i 14 that raise the computer off of the surface it is sitting on. This provides airflow under the computer for cooling and provides the Yoga 9i 14 form direct contact with the surface material it is sitting on. If you have questions about adjusting your Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 to your personal preferences, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for more information about your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14, by calling: 888-278-9707.

Super fast boot up, excellent speakers, excellent screen resolution, perfect aspect ratio, excellent keyboard, excellent weight, perfectly portable, responsive track pad, pen to screen works perfectly, solid build quality, great hinges, good battery life, excellent processing power and Ram for multi-tasking (surfing, listening to music, watching videos, movies, and video editing), the camera is on point, great for use in table or tent mode, I'm loving the smooth rounded edges and the soft metallic oatmeal color. I highly recommend this laptop! My only cons: Due to the 14" size, there is no number pad and I wish I bought the 1TB instead of the 512 GB. The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons which means you're getting a lot of bang for your buck!

I have Alienware portable workstation aka big and heavy laptop you don’t want to take anywhere and you can heat up a room with it while it’s on. Also have a MacBook Pro from last year, I gave that to my 4 year old daughter because it was only good for YouTube and basic things. So this has been an amazing experience. Originally purchased for my fiancé but now I use it more than her. What more can you ask for. Fast, quiet, light weight, screen looks good, it works the way it should. It’s a windows laptop and it does laptop things with no problems.
