Went with the PC due to the OLED screen, i7 processor, and touchscreen in Jan 2023. A little over a year later received a BSOD and can't turn the machine back on. For $1600 this machine should last longer than a year.

This configuration ships with Stereo system speakers, 3W x2 (woofers on the side), 2W x2 (front-facing tweeters on hinge bar), optimized with Dolby Atmos, audio by Bowers & Wilkins. Adjusting the Dolby Atmos settings may correct the issue you are having with the right woofer speaker. If that does not fix the issue, check for Operating System updates within the Vantage APP for Windows as well as the BIOS files and drivers. Poor Quality, Regret Buying

Tried working out issues myself and with local IT company, then with Lenovo tech support who determined the computer needed to be sent back for repair. Waiting on a part (a speaker? the speaker was working fine!) with no ETA for arrival. At this point it's been 3.5 months since purchase, I have not had a working computer during that time, and don't even have it in my possession. I bought a Lenovo specifically because they were recommended by several IT professionals & supposed to be reliable, and this model in particular because of the very good reviews. I've never had this much difficultly with a PC.

Posted .Hello, themaz, we are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with your Yoga 9i 14. In advance this is a lengthy response as we want to fully address your statement. Regarding the webcam, this model Yoga 9i ships with a FHD webcam with manual Privacy Shutter built in. Be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If your camera is still not functional, we recommend checking for updates trough Windows Update settings and Lenovo Vantage. To navigate there, select start on the taskbar (windows logo) or press the windows key on the keyboard then select Settings. In Settings, select Windows Update, and then select the Check For Updates button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required. If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed. Additionally, check for updates in the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled on Windows devices. You can check by opening the app, navigating to the device tab, and selecting the “check for updates” option. If there are updates to install, follow the onscreen directions to finalize those updates. If your issues persists after these steps, we also recommend that you reach out to the Lenovo Tech Support Premium Care team at this number for additional assistance: 888-278-9707. Now regarding programs not running, first, check the software publisher’s website to ensure that this device meets their requirements for running their software. Followed the troubleshooting directions (found online) but stopped short of downloading new drivers on a diff pc to a flash drive to download on the new laptop. For $1400 I’m not trying to do all that with a brand new laptop. Also found more info online about WiFi issues with this brand so I returned and got a diff brand and model all together. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

WiFi-6E is also backward compatible to older, a/b/g/n/ac/ax frequency WiFi. If you are having difficulty connecting to your home WiFi network, you can directly update/reinstall the WiFi Driver within the Windows 11 Operating System on this Laptop.
