I love this laptop so much! It’s small and I love that you can turn it into a tablet.

I bought this laptop for my daughter in college, and it seems to be working great for her so far. It has all the specs she needed, and it is pretty lightweight to carry around. Sometimes it can be hard to read the keys during the day without the backlight on, but this isn’t too big of a deal. Great display and speaker.

Just what I was looking for. Haven't had any problems yet, I hope that wasn't a jinx!!

This computer is fantastic. The display is crisp and clear, it boots up quickly, the sound is great. The battery life is ok, I can take it with me and work for several hours without plugging it in, but I haven't pushed it too hard yet.

Overall this laptop is a nice laptop. The regular price is a little high, but it seems to go on sale fairly regularly and at the sale price is a descent deal. The keyboard is ok, but nothing amazing. Definitely not a Lenovo business class keyboard, but far from the worse that I've used. The speakers are really impressive for a device this size. You aren't going to get a ton of bass, but the depth and clarity is really good for such a small machine. The hinge sound bar really helps with this by directing the sound toward you. As for performance, the 1260p struggles a little bit with heavy tasks, but for general use it is sufficient. The screen looks stunning as you would expect from an OLED. And then we get to the bad stuff, and some of this is a pretty big problem which is why I give this device such a low review. First off lets talk about an extremely poor design choice. The dedicated buttons on the right side of the laptop. Why in the world did someone think that a dedicated button soley for the purpose of going in and out of dark mode in windows was a good idea? It's such an utter waste of space. The majority of people are going to stay in one mode or the other, not be switching back and forth so often that they need a dedicated button for it. The other buttons aren't really that much better. You get dedicated buttons for turning on and off the privacy blur function (only works if you have it enabled to always have your web camera active watching for another person coming into the frame), lame. You have a button to switch between low power, intelligent cooling, and performance mode. This one I've seen other laptops do and it's fine, but I would prefer to see that button up out of the way as a function key. And then you get a sound profile button to switch between the Dolby sound profiles. This one is like the performance mode button and has some limited use but I'd again rather see it up with the function keys out of the way. Center the keyboard more without this extra column of such limited use buttons would have been a much better design imo. Next up, the battery. I don't know if I got a bad unit here or what, cause a lot of professional reviews say this thing gets 12+ hours, but for me the battery is atrocious. I'm barely eeking out 4 to 5 hours of very general web browsing. That is simply unacceptable battery life with a device of this size, especially considering it's not a top tier performance chip. That is also with the screen set to ~20 - 30% brightness. And finally the biggest flaw, the microphone simply does not work with recent windows updates. If you have this machine and you install Windows Update 2022-12 Cumulative update (which is not an optional update so you can't avoid it if the machine auto updates), your microphone will stop working. Now, I understand sometimes MS releases updates that breaks things. But my biggest issue is that Lenovo support is completely clueless about it. This should be a known issues, and for something as important as a microphone in this age of online meetings and such, it should be a high priority issue to get corrected. I first did quite a bit of troubleshooting on this issue myself and when I couldn't find a solution I contacted Lenovo Support. They remoted into the PC, tried a lot of the things I had already tried, tried updating the bios (it was already on the most recent version), and ultimately said I had to try resetting the PC. So, I did that. And that is what led me to discovering that it was the windows update that was breaking the microphone. So I contacted Lenovo Support again to check if they had new drivers available to address this issue. The support was completely useless. They couldn't even comprehend that I was telling them exactly what the problem was and wanted to do all the basic troubleshooting stuff again. And then ultimately wanted to suggest I take the machine back to Best Buy and exchange it lol. Sorry Lenovo, but your tech support need to be trained better if they think a driver issue with a windows update is going to be resolved by replacing the machine with an identical machine that uses the same drivers.
