Overall good for short term. I left it on the charger and when i came back it was super hot to touch all over. When i updated to windows 11 the start menu was not working until a new update which was 3 months later. The mouse area is very sensitive. I had a lenovo for work before so i was an avid lenovo person but this just made me want to return it.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14. It is normal for the Yoga 9i 14 to feel warm to the touch when the computer is plugged in and charging. If issues continue, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707. Lenovo

I've been working on mac running bootcamp since 2009 because I saw a better value on a mac over any other competitor. But time change and I got tired of my old 2015 MBA. I choosed lenovo because it brings me the IBM quality feel. I bought the yoga i6 blue jeans and it got slow after I installed few programs ( I do IT) Anyways, yoga i9 great computer I just wish that lenovo would be less greedy and smart and add a dedicated port for a USBc charger.

I picked it up today (2/13/21) from the SLC UT Bestbuy. Went to lunch, and after the 35 minute drive home finally got to open it up. Pushed the power button and nothing, pushed and held the power button and nothing. Broke out the charger and walked away for the estimated 39 minute charge time. Unplugged at 100% charged and started personalizing the laptop. After 11 minutes I was down to 89% battery, with an estimated 1 hour and 9 minutes remaining (so far any chance of 9 hours would be a myth). Then I started to do the updates and it was like watching minutes roll by as the battery drained 1% between 1-2 minutes. The downloads came down, I rebooted a couple times as required, and I had 25% battery at just under an hour of use. So I plugged it back in and waited for another full charge. My next use was also unplugged after another full charge. I turned the screen brightness all the way down to the lowest position on the slide, and started browsing, and playing single Youtube videos. After 27 minutes the battery indicated that I had 2 hours and 44 minutes of charge remaining. If I were compiling code, editing photos, or manipulating video I could understand these massive hits to the battery, but not from content consumption. I'll be driving back into SLC tomorrow and seeing what other EVO options they have.

The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with All Day Battery Life, thanks to its 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration has a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. Always have the computer plugged in for initial setup and activation of Windows 10. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

This device is awesome and powerful! The display is bananas! I was watching 8k videos on YouTube and blown away with the colors and clarity. This laptop is worth the money in my opinion. Pictures and videos does no JUSTICE on the screen you’ll have to see it for yourself in person to believe it.

Best 2 in 1 computer on the market. Forget the HP specter or surface this is the best for sure. The Dell xps might be the only competitor, but its price point and lack of peripherals make it a no go. Cons- Fingerprint magnet, and the fingerprint scanner is hard to find sometimes in low light with the black color

Pros: Works well for the intent I purchased it for (graphic design). Loving the ability to flip it flat. Fantastic resolution. Cons: I don’t like the feel of the included pen, it's too narrow, so i purchased a seperate stylus. It gets rather toasty if you try to hold it on your lap. Due to processing the great resolution, battery life is short.

The display is good. Netflix 4k HDR on this device is stunning. Although it is a pity that this model still uses a 16:9 ratio while other high-end laptops are moving to 16:10 or 3:2. The pen is a bit too small and its battery only covers 130 minutes usage. Otherwise the laptop is good and beyond my expectation.
