The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with All Day Battery Life, thanks to its 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration has a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. Always have the computer plugged in for initial setup and activation of Windows. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159 . Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Windows search window, after launching the search window by clicking the Windows logo. Great laptop for corporate espionage

Overall a great laptop for work, fun with the kids, and making smoothies. The leather top is a nice touch and it looks and feels great...maybe a little too great.

After having the BB Geek Squad transfer files from the Surface, I brought it home and called my company's Tech Support to install encryption software, which was done. I was told the specs were exceptionally good. After using the Laptop since it was purchased I am extremely pleased with it's performance. I THANK BB's Sales Rep and the Geek Squad for their excellent help.

Major WiFi issues with this laptop

There have been documented issues with this product's WiFi going back over a year (wish I had read Lenovo and Reddit forums before my purchase). WiFi strength is incredibly poor if you are not right next to a router. My phone and other computers all have full Wifi strength and this product barely has one bar. This is due to a design flaw in which screws inside of the computer are dampening the WiFi signal (https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/i9-weak-wi-fi-signal/m-p/5056282?page=1). Do not waste your time spending hours with Lenovo customer service as this will get you nowhere. The only way to fix the issue is to take the computer apart and remove screws. As I do not want to mess with this, I will be returning. Unacceptable that a $1500 computer requires major hardware modifications in order to get a normal WiFi signal.

Posted .This Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with the latest Intel, WiFi-6, 2x2 802.11ax frequency WiFi for the longest range/high speed WiFi, when used with a compatible 802.11ax frequency router. The WiFi-6 id also backward compatible to older, a/b/g/n/ac frequency WiFi. If you are getting less than expected WiFi performance, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.

Sharp laptop With hardware problems

Yes it is light and thin and the display is amazing but I realized that after I had installed all my software, That the computer was only reflected 8 gigs of ram Instagram instead of 16. Lenovo support suggested I go back to Best Buy. When I tried to boo factory reset the computer, It Would no longer power on. I had purchased 2 of these for my office And I return them both. It does not have an H DMI connector which surprised me though it wasn't a deal breaker. Would not recommend.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14. To reset this computer to factory original settings, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Once you have the computer reset, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. Perfect lightweight powerhouse

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Lenovo - Yoga 9i 14 as a gift to myself for getting my Bachelors's degree and an upgrade from my Lenovo IdeaPad 100 which is 8years old and still going strong. I love the Shadow Black and the leather lid. the all-glass touchpad and the fingerprint are nice features. This computer is fast and lightweight. However, I didn't realize how much I would hate the 14" vs the 15". My last laptop was a 15". So after a two weeks of frustration. I exchanged it for the 15" version. (downside they don't sell the 15" in Shadow Black or with the glass touchpad)
