Knew it was bad before I bought it

When Lenovo launched, I avoided even looking at them because of that experience years earlier. In need of a new PC laptop, I finally decided to give Lenovo another chance. What a mistake. I thought I'd be able to tolerate the super-slick and thus extremely imprecise touchpad, which is made even worse by the uneven click (top-to-bottom) range. I was wrong. And now it's stuck in a boot loop despite having barely 100 hours of use. This thing is garbage and even if it can be repaired (so far, "factory reset" has done nothing), I'll be getting rid of it asap and will never purchase another Lenovo. I got a little work done with it, but all-in-all, this is $1700 down the drain.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified Lenovo Yoga 9i 14, model number 82BG0001US. Power off the computer. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset or if OneKey Recovery does not reset the computer, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.

The Haptic touchpad hardware is a piece of crap and it has a lot of issues with accidental clicks. I am an IT guy this issue won't be fixed with any update. Need to adjust graphics as higher res is easier on my eyes. Easy install; works smoothly. Lotts of storage; great graphics. Haven’t finished installing all my apps but not expecting any problems.I run, ms apps, graphics apps, others.

This 2 in 1 is just what I need for editing photos while on the road. I like the included pen which stores in the "garage" on the back of the unit. Looked at several other units before purchasing the Lenovo.

Worth the price

I have absolutely to problems with this computer and is ages faster than my previous, with the 4k screen you can expect significantly less battery life as compared to the other model. Haven't had any issues with the fingerprint reader and having that just makes getting into the PC even faster.
