Thin and light device. The biggest concern is that it's difficult to locate the track pad in certain lighting conditions for the color listed in the picture. Also worried about how the leather will hold up over time. The pen os great to have in the device.

I recently bought the Yoga 9i laptop. A 2 n 1 laptop that includes a pen. Ultra HD screen for streaming videos and watching your favorite shows. The screen is crystal clear. It also has a smooth and light keystroke. The computer is made of Aluminum with leather on the lid cover, it makes it look and fell very nice, solid. The processor is an i7 with 16 GB of ram and a 512 GB SSD( solid state drive). The system runs very smooth, quiet and fast. I am very happy with this laptop.

I bought this laptop for school, it was open box, I have been told that a customer returned this item couple of days after purchasing it, the second week after using it, three problems popped up and I couldn't return or fix because I needed it for school every day. The battery life went down from 5 hours to 1 hour and half only from the second week. The sound keeps going far and coming back while listening to music. The screen brightness keeps on changing by itself.

Bought this for my daughter to use for college, to replace her laptop that came apart. Not even a month old and the fingerprint reader is not working and she cannot adjust the brightness. Tried to take it in to Best Buy for repairs but they can't fit her in for a few weeks. Luckily she can still use it for finals and such and we will see if we can get it fixed over holiday break. For $1400, I expected it to last a little longer before needing repairs. Maybe just got a bad one. Have never really had problems with Lenovo in the past.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your daughter's Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14. Regarding the fingerprint reader, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers, including those drivers running the fingerprint reader, up to that latest version of Windows. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Regarding manually adjusting the screen brightness, first be sure that auto/adaptive brightness is turned off. Then you can manually adjust the screen brightness within Windows 11 by clicking any of the three icons (Internet, Sound, and battery) on the right corner of the taskbar, or just press Windows + A to open the Action Center. Click or drag anywhere on the brightness slider in the Action Center to adjust the brightness of your screen. To first turn off auto/adaptive brightness within Windows 11:  https://www.thewindowsclub.com/disable-content-adaptive-brightness-control-cabc. If the issues continue, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care at: 888-278-9707. Lenovo

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0091US. This is an extremely fast configuration, Intel Evo-Certified for speed and performance - Introducing the Intel Evo platform for the perfect combination of performance, responsiveness, battery life and stunning visuals in a new class of sleek, stylish laptops. Co-engineered by Lenovo and Intel to provide the ultimate experience for life and work anywhere, the
Yoga 9i offers remarkable responsiveness, lightning-fast Gigabit speeds with Intel WiFi 6, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports connecting to power and accessories with a single cable. If you are getting slower than expected performance, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. This includes any legacy software and/or files installed from your old computer. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707. Lenovo

Excellent laptop in every respect. Unfortunately, it has little to no upgradeability. I really like Lenovo includes virtually no bloatware so the laptop is speedy from the start. My machine was already upgraded to Windows 11 and experienced no problem. I was surprised it did not have a HDMI or display port connect but the USB C can act as a display port connection. Overall, it is a solid laptop. Quiet, powerful, and fast. Definitely is was a great purchase.

I am going to return this item. Very poor wifi connection that drops even though I have nearly a brand new Linksys Velop WiFi 6 Router and no issues with other devices. Also the touchpad is very hard to get used to and the haptic feedback feels very cheap and inconsistent. I had very high hopes, but fell very short to expectations despite premium build quality and price.
