Great 2-1 laptop!

Writing to text works pretty well but is better on other platforms. Love the features. Tablet mode takes some getting used to, but as I become more familiar should be easier to work with.

I ran into a problem where the screen randomly turns off. Then when I put it into tablet mode it turns off that way too. Still seeing if I can get the problem resolved. If so I would increase my rating. I absolutely love this computer and am very sad to see it start to malfunction. Reaching out to Lenovo and BestBuy to see if they are any help. I've taken amazing care of it and it's still within warranty so we will see how it goes from this point on.

Posted .Hey JackB, we're sorry to hear that you ran into issues with your Yoga. To help resolve this issue, for now, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps: 1. Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.). 2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual. 3. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words. We are glad to hear that you are otherwise loving your Yoga 9i, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective with us.

It seem to function as well as any other laptop. Screen cracked in first few months. I took it in for repair, per Best Buy 1 year repair, paid an extra $99. They now have my computer, and the part (screen) is not available. My options, after waiting 30 days, may be a replacement computer. They won’t send that computer back. Frustrated with experince and being sold on warranty.

Posted .Hey AiswaryaG, we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting your pen to work. If your pen is not charging, it's possible that the power input it too high for the pen. You may need to use a lower output charging source, like the USB port of your Yoga 9i, to charge the pen. Once it charges, ensure than you have the Lenovo Pen Settings app installed, as it can help with pen functionality once its powered (here's a link to see the app in Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9MVLWT5DMSKR?hl=en-us&gl=US&ocid=pdpshare). DON'T BUY! THEY MESSED WITH THE KEYBOARD AGAIN!!

This is a NEVER EVER DO IT AGAIN lesson that they need to learn. They have added relatively useless and very unnecessary buttons on the right side of the keyboard that if you are a fast typer, you will constantly find yourself hitting. They change screen brightness, open unwanted control panels, etc. For the life of me I can't understand why they ruin their products by committing this cardinal sin. I have returned an otherwise okay laptop because I find I could not adjust to the keyboard, and I have wasted a lot of hours setting up a laptop that is ultimately rendered a piece of junk by the keyboard. So frustrating!!!

why do the fans turn on when check email
