Lenovo for the win
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful. Lightweight. Sleek. It’s been just under a month but so far I’m happy with my purchase. I was worried about the battery life and the computer overheating but if you set up power settings accordingly then you can prevent that. Besides a few small things like no hdmi port and some of the keyboard keys are different from my previous laptop, it’s a great buy.

Yoga 9i
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Premium build quality & design The Yoga 9i features a sturdy aluminum chassis and a hinge design that works smoothly, with no unwanted flex in normal use. Its aesthetics strike a nice balance between sleek and functional — thin, lightweight and modern. For example, a 2024 model weighs around 2.98 lbs for a 14-inch version. The “rotating soundbar” hinge design is a distinctive touch and adds premium flair to the design/experience. 2. Display quality The model reviewed by PCWorld has a 14-inch OLED display with 2880 × 1800 resolution, HDR support, and a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Colors, contrast, and overall image quality are top-tier for a consumer 2-in-1, making it great for media consumption, content viewing, and creative work. 3. Strong performance for day-to-day use The model with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V in reviews delivers “snappy desktop performance” for typical productivity tasks. Standard workloads like web browsing, text processing, media playback, or light photo editing are handled easily. Benchmark results are solid for its class — in testing it scored well in PCMark 10. 4. Battery life Battery life is excellent on the version tested by PCWorld, thanks in part to its 75 Wh battery and energy-efficient hardware. In practical use, reviews mention it can last a full school or work day without issue. 5. Versatility & features As a 2-in-1 convertible, it supports multiple modes (laptop, tent, stand, tablet), adding flexibility for work, presentations, reading, and media. Input features are robust: it includes a touchscreen, pen/stylus support (in certain configurations) and good biometric options (fingerprint reader + IR camera for facial recognition) depending on model. Connectivity is modern with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and additional USB-C/USB options (depending on configuration) per reviews. 6. Comfortable keyboard & trackpad The keyboard in this model is well-designed with “soft-landing” switches and decent key travel (1.5 mm) according to reviewers. Touchpad and general input experience also get positive commentary, making it well suited for productivity.

Outstanding
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Yoga 9i is a sleek and powerful 2-in-1 laptop that's perfect for work, entertainment, and creativity. Its 14" 2.8K OLED touchscreen is stunning, offering vibrant colors and sharp details, great for watching movies or editing photos. The 360-degree hinge makes it versatile, easily switching between laptop and tablet modes. Performance is solid, handling multitasking and daily tasks smoothly. The battery life is decent, and the included stylus adds a nice touch for note-taking or drawing. The speakers deliver impressive sound, enhancing the overall experience. While it's a bit pricey and the fans can get loud under load, the Yoga 9i’s premium design and features make it worth considering for anyone needing a stylish, powerful, and flexible device.

Best laptop I bought the day I bought it!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is awesome. It is small yet powerful much like myself. It’s very fast again much like myself. It’s blue and sometimes when I’m not breathing very well I am also blue. It does lots of cool things when you press the buttons and I recommend it to anyone else she likes to press buttons and do cool things on their small cool blue computer. I recommend buying one or 11 because even numbers are for losers.

A great machine for the money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 2 fails with new Microsoft products, I decided to switch to Lenovo. This Yoga has an incredible display, the power to run my required software and connect to the peripherals I use all day every day. I primarily use this at my desk, but I have gotten so used to portability that going back to a desktop was out of the question. I needed pen input for making notes on proposals, and I run design software. I use an inexpensive hub to leave all my peripherals connected and just unhook the laptop when I go mobile, and it seems to handle the load perfectly. I've only been using it for a few days, so I'll update this review if there are any major changes.

Great.... If it wouldnt overheat.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Short review. I purchased this as an opex box and though it had a few scratches and bumps, it work well.... or so I thought. I began by updating Windows, Vantage, etc. Everything worked perfectly for normal usage (word, netflix, browsing, etc.) But I notced the fans kicking on overdrive for NO reason. I installed software to monitor Temps and it was in the high 90s at very minor tasks. As soon as I started to play Hearthstone or any very miminally demanding game, it would shut it down due to overheating (over 100 C). I put it on a laptop stand to allow more airaflow, no fix. I opened the chassis to see if anything was obstructing the air flow, but everything was fine (fans clean and working, thermal paste was fine, etc.)..... After days of trouble shooting and trying to see if its a hardware or software issue I just decided to return it and buy something else. I can see this being a great second laptop for productivity, school, etc. Next to a gaming laptop, with all its features, but sadly, with all the overheating I could not give it a fair test.

How much frustration do you want in your life?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer feels solidly built, offers impressive speed, and delivers excellent video quality. However, it seems Lenovo overlooked some key aspects of product testing. Key Issues... Touchpad Sensitivity: The touchpad is overly sensitive. I've lost count of how many times I’ve accidentally opened a window or clicked a link just by moving the cursor. Its large size compounds the problem, making it easy to inadvertently rest a finger or part of your palm on it, which often triggers the four-finger swipe gesture that opens the “view all windows” mode. Unnecessary Buttons: There's a dedicated button for battery performance—why? It's poorly positioned directly below the "delete" key, reducing space for the "backspace" key. As a result, I unintentionally press the battery button about 20 times per hour. Correcting this requires pressing the button twice more to return to standard mode. Bloatware: It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet of bloatware. No, Lenovo, I don’t want to register for updates. No, McAfee, I don’t need your antivirus. And no, I don’t want to sync with countless services. Battery Life: Best Buy claims up to 10.5 hours of battery life, but in real-world use, it barely lasts 5 hours. Despite these frustrations, the computer’s overall build and performance suggest it has great potential. However, these issues highlight areas where Lenovo could significantly improve the user experience.

Posted .Hi, JohnH. We're sorry to hear that your Yoga 9i missed the mark for you in some respects. We have noted your feedback, and we would like to share some tips and information for insights in response. First, regarding the touchpad, you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Making the touchpad less sensitive may correct the issues you have experienced. Regarding the mapped keys, including toggling system performance modes, this is to help users easily switch their system from its intelligent auto mode, to prioritizing battery life or performance. This could be helpful for you since the battery life you experienced was not sufficient. We hope that what's shared can be useful, and we appreciate you taking the time to detail your feedback and experience with us.

Enjoyed Initially, Then the Problems Came
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought most of the Yoga 9i's that have come out of the years. Always been dependable and I enjoy the evolution I've seen over the years. When I bought this one, my initial impressions were fantastic. Great OLED screen, amazing keyboard and trackpad and the speakers are still fantastic. Then the problems started. I noticed EVERY TIME that I picked up the laptop after I closed the lid and came back to it later, the battery was dead. I checked all windows settings to even make sure it was aggressive with putting the laptop to sleep once the lid is closed. Didn't matter, came back to laptop later - dead. Also, it's supposedly able to charge very quickly, but that has not been my experience at all. Since I've had to charge every single time I picked up the laptop, I noticed it takes around 20 minutes for every 10%. This just doesn't seem normal to me. Lastly, it seems the only way I can get the fans not to run at all is on the Battery Saver mode. I understand this isn't a ARM based laptop, but previous versions of the 9i have not had these issues. Sadly, back it goes and thus ends my relationship with 9i's.

having some trouble, but still a great PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the PC it self is beautiful, but I have ran into some unfortunate troubleshooting with random crashing and graphics problems with Netflix... I've been troubleshooting and installing every software and driver updates ever since I've got the device and it still seems that it doesn't want to run smoothly which is a shame... (and I'm already abroad, so there is not much more i could do about it sadly...) other wise the screen is gorgeous with deep vivid colors, the touch is very nice, using the included pen is very cool and the speakers are the bast I've ever heard on a laptop. the battery life is just "OK" (Not nearly as good as advertised, but not to bad) and it could get a bit warm under higher power settings.

Reliable and Fast, with a Few Small Quirks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this Lenovo laptop for a while, and overall it has been a great experience. The setup was quick, the performance is fast, and it handles multitasking smoothly. The screen is bright and sharp, and the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. Battery life also lasts me through most of the day, which is a big plus. One small drawback is the mouse/trackpad—it works fine, but the clicking feels a little stiff and not as smooth as I’d like. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to get used to. Overall, this laptop is reliable, lightweight, and a good value for the price. I’d recommend it for anyone who needs a dependable laptop for work, school, or everyday use.

Awesome Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this computer. The screen clarity and colors are amazing, the sound quality is excellent. The keyboard is smooth and the flip into a tablet is great when I need to take notes with the pen that came with it. Battery lasts me a long time, it's fast and lots of functionality including fingerprint access. I have had many computers and this is by far the BEST. The only thing, which is minor and I figured out. The pen did not come with instructions and I wasn't sure how to set it up. I even called Lenovo and they didn't know (there is no manual). Basically, just charge it and it will work --easy peasy!

Worth the money for the performance and the looks
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a niche product that offers you a classy product that works as advertised. It's not over the top. It does not pretend to be a replacement for a MacBook. It works just as intended so setting your expectations will get you up for success. Its been 4 months since purchase and the battery has held up better than my expectations. The display is crisp and the audio is loud and clear. Pleased with this purchase.

It's Blue, comes with a carry pouch and Pen.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's super light and portable. The display is really beautiful but glossy, which I put a matte display protector on. I get about 10-12 hours on battery, it is certainly lasting longer than when I first got it. It can play light games pretty well, certainly not at its full resolution nor 1080p all the time but at 900p.

Beware with open box.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd love to offer a helpful review but I purchased an open box model. Turns out it was a shelf display (demo unit/floor model) but also returned to the store. Contrary to what is stated when purchasing an open box model (that it is restored to factory settings), this unit was not. Not only did it have files from the previous owner, but it still had the demo hub/demo loop from Best Buy on the unit. Bonus the chat people couldn't comprehend what I was saying about this being unwiped/not reset. My options were to return it or contact Geek Squad. The screen was bright, very sharp, touch screen was smooth, weight was ok but that's all I can say.

Pretty but useless
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is pretty but pretty useless for actually doing anything. Lenovo's pen, that comes with the device, is uncomfortable and drivers must be manually installed. Pen input is really bad compared with a Surface pen and lags. Memory is almost completely used by running the lenovo bloatware and Edge. Opening the screen feels like its about to break the screen due to the flex of the screen. Heats up rapidly. Memory not upgradable. The biggest pro is that it looks more like a tablet but sadly probably less functional than one. Screen quality is nice but the battery life is a joke.

Posted .Hi, POTATOCAKE. We're sorry to hear that your Yoga has been a complete miss for you. To address your pain points, first, with the pen. Once powered on, your pen should be able to connect automatically with your Yoga. This could be prevented and had to be done manually along with driver installation due to improper pairing. Also, you can adjust what software runs in the background and is installed on your system via the task manager and system settings respectively. Regarding the hinge and overall system integrity, these devices are tested for quality assurance, and this aligns with the consensus of user reviews, so rest assured that your device should be fine in that regard. Also, we recommend ensuring that the air intake and air out vents are not blocked to ensure proper air exchange to keep your Yoga cool. Then in regard to the previous point and battery, by default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds. Hopefully this helps, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us, as it does not go unnoted. Please reach out to Lenovo Support should you need further assistance.

Lenovo At It’s Best (Buy)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the laptop I had been looking for when it showed up on the Lenovo web site. I checked several reviews (all very positive) and one had a link to Best Buy’s sale of same at $180 less than Lenovo. The memory, storage, processor, hi-res OLED screen were exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with it in all respects.
