This Lenovo Yoga 9i is a remarkable 2-in-1 laptop that seamlessly blends style, power, and versatility. From the moment I laid my hands on it, the luxurious design and premium craftsmanship were evident. The genuine leather cover adds a sophisticated touch, setting it apart in a sea of sleek laptops. Performance-wise, this machine is a powerhouse. The 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor combined with ample RAM ensures seamless multitasking and speedy responsiveness. Whether I'm working on complex projects, streaming high-definition content, or indulging in some light gaming, the Yoga 9i handles everything with ease. One of its most impressive features is the vibrant 14-inch touchscreen display with a 4K resolution. The colors are rich and vivid, and the touch response is impeccable. The flexibility of the hinge allows for effortless transitions between laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes, adapting to different tasks and preferences. The sound quality is another standout aspect. The Rotating Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos provides immersive audio, delivering crisp and clear sound from any orientation. It's great for watching movies or enjoying music without the need for external speakers. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, offering good feedback and key travel. Additionally, the inclusion of the active pen makes it convenient for note-taking, sketching, or precise interactions on the screen. Battery life has been impressive, easily lasting through a full day of moderate use without needing a recharge. The inclusion of Thunderbolt 4 ports and other connectivity options further enhances its usability. However, it's not without its minor drawbacks. The fan noise can occasionally become noticeable under heavy loads, but it's generally not disruptive. Additionally, while the leather cover looks stunning, it may require extra care to maintain its appearance over time. In conclusion, the Lenovo Yoga 9i is a standout 2-in-1 laptop that excels in performance, design, and versatility. It's a premium device that caters to both productivity enthusiasts and multimedia consumers, making it a compelling choice for anyone seeking a top-tier convertible laptop.

Excellent computer! The 360 degree rotating screen is super vibrant and the computer loads websites/apps super fast. Only thing that I don’t like about it, is the trackpad, for the price point, it should have came with a haptic touchpad. I like how it came with a pen for drawing/taking notes on the computer. It comes with a good selection of ports, something Apple doesn’t give you. It has a decent battery life. Overall a sleek looking, lightweight computer. Someone should definitely get this computer.

I love this laptop. This was the creme of the crop for me. I had the dell 7620 4k+ oled which the trackpad failed on me and had a bad grounding issue. As a laptop, even if it has touch i need the touchpad to work. I then went to the asus zenbook. Although the display was nice everything else wasnt really good in my opinion. There was no dolby vision and it wasnt 2 in 1. I then went to the lenovo 9i 2.8k version. That machine was amazing i just wasnt utilizing the 90hz refresh rate at all. So this 4k model went on sale and i picked it up. Its exactly what i want. Its 2 in 1. It comes with a pen. 100w power unit. Durable screen. Great keyboard. Amazing trackpad. Plus its UHD+ WITH DOLBY VISION AND TRUBLACK. I am currently a college student and wanted something i can do school work on and do alot of typing. I also do alot of video and movie watching. And this thing is blows it AWAY! GET THIS LAPTOP IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF MACHINE. I have a desktop for all my powerhouse needs. It has a 5950x cpu with a RTX 4090. 64gb ram. 1200w power supply. So if i need the power ill trush a desktop for all that gaming and processing.

I mainly use my laptop for everything at school, homework and around the house sometimes for shopping, casual internet use and to access SD card media, photos, etc. My older Lenovo Yoga from 2016 I loved, it had no issues but was getting slower over time. I decided to upgrade to a new one and the OLED display on this was amazing in the store so I got it. Pros: -Screen is amazingly crisp 4k OLED, colors are great. -Very fast and has no issues running chrome and other apps at the same time. -Charging is relitively fast, and has 4 USB-C ports. -Touchscreen is super responsive -Very well built, feels very premium, smooth metal edges Cons: -Battery isn't great, the 4k OLED screen is the reason, with 100% I may get through 4 classes before it dies, even in its "medium" power mode. -Not many ports besides USB-C -Wish it had the 90hz refresh rate insted of 60hz for a smoother feel, but isn't a deal-breaker. This vs my old laptop after 7 years of use, the battery is about the same. This is sad for a new laptop. I'd suggest getting the other 9i laptop, its slightly cheaper and has a 2.8k OLED screen, with a 90hz refresh rate. It looks smoother with a slight drop in resolution but it's barely noticeable, its still way better than most laptops. Im sure the battery would be better. Besides the battery I love this laptop.

    Great Notebook/Tablet for the Price

As an avid gamer and remote worker, I know my hardware preferences. After a year of use the Lenovo Yoga 9i is easily the best notebook/tablet I have purchased for office production. With 16 GB of memory, I am never lagging or waiting on apps or programs to load. I am able to do everything from writing an email to editing SIMPLE videos. The touchscreen on the laptop is responsive. The tablet mode is handy at times. The hinges on the laptop are durable. The included stylus is okay. Like every stylus, it is focused on form and fit vs. comfort. the keyboard is responsive with small feel of a click without the sound. You know if you miss a keystroke because you don't feel that feedback the keyboard gives. The notebook shell is light, but tough. It has a premium feel to it. My only complaint is that it is too smooth. To be fair, every notebook in this range is like this. Battery time is above average. I have not tried the new laptops promising 20hr battery life, but this battery will get you through the day if you use an energy saving mode. The camera and speakers are fine. There is a headphone jack that is a nice feature in an airport situation where it is wise to keep your Bluetooth off. With the 1 USB-A and three USB-C ports, you are not left wanting for a connection. Overall this is a semi-premium to premium work notebook. There are notebooks out there with unnecessary bells and whistles, but this notebook has an A++ in the value category.

I'm a fan of Lenovo and the Yoga series. Excellent, high-performance laptops capable of handling multiple apps including Adobe suite all at once. Never had a problem with a Lenovo product in the last 15 years since I switched from Apple. The Yoga 9i is super lightweight and easy to take anywhere. I love the upgrade in the pen. Thicker for larger hands and a rubber tip for lifelike synthesis for writing. The mouse pad is large. Too large for my large hands but I am not a perfectionist and understand there is no perfect laptop for me. I use the Yoga mouse at all times and highly recommend the additional purchase.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i is a very capable laptop! I've only had it for a couple of days, but this thing hasn't disappointed. Fans can get going but only when using the higher performance settings, which you only use when you really need that extra push. The display is class leading! The OLED colors really pop, and the 4K resolution just makes everything that much sharper, especially in this small 14" formfactor. Battery isn't outstanding, but it is still a serviceable amount, which ranges between 6-8 hours depending on my use case, and much less if I'm doing performant task.

I hustled into Best Buy one Saturday afternoon. My laptop had died. I'm a writer, and I felt like a truck driver whose rig had completely broken down. Best Buy to the rescue! This is my third or fourth Lenovo and my best yet! Lightweight, long battery life, and so easy to set up and use. The Best Buy team member who sold it to me was knowledgeable and service-oriented. A near-perfect experience and laptop! (And the Geek Squad team was able to rescue all my old files off the other laptop's harddrive!)

Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen8:Clear Winner Among 3 Computers

I purchased three laptops, the Lenovo slim pro 7, Asus Zenbook 13 S, and another one. Out of the three, the Lenovo Yoga 9i was the clear winner. The Asus Zenbook had a few issues, with its temperature running over 100 degrees and its loud fans overpowering its speakers. The Lenovo slim pro 7 had a good performance but its display was disappointing, despite having a higher refresh rate. The Lenovo Yoga 9i, on the other hand, met all my expectations. It checked every box for me, from speed to display, keyboard and touchpad, speakers, 100w charging, and its ability to flip around to be used as a tablet. It even comes with a pen, which is a bonus for artists. Additionally, Lenovo's customer service is excellent. Although there were a couple of downsides, such as no HDMI port, and the first unit had a touchpad sensitivity defect, Lenovo quickly replaced it without any hassle. The battery life is not as impressive as my wife's MacBook Air M2, but I'm willing to overlook that when I have a laptop with such a fantastic display and speakers. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase and would give it a 4.8/5 rating.

The new 2023 Yoga 9i runs quietly and is less warm than its predecessor. The display is lovely, yet it does not seem to drain the battery like the 2022 version. The battery seems to last 25% longer or more under regular use. As before, the audio/sound is second to none; Lenovo's sound bar is incomparable. The build is sturdy; I see no overt changes from the 2022 version of the build. It has had no blue screens in two days; no errors. The only downsides are the pen cannot magnetize onto the chassis anywhere and the shiny edges of the chassis leave me longing for something less slippery. The original retail price is 50 dollars less than the 2022 version. I did not want to wait for a sale; I just had to test it out. I am pretty sure it is a keeper!

I wanted to love this laptop. It is the top of the line Yoga and it has everything on it that I ever wanted. Besides the extensive feature set, the laptop itself is gorgeous. The build quality is top notch, I loved the curved corners and the speakers are amazing. The 4k OLED screen is to die for - the best I have found. What I couldn't get over, and what caused me to reluctantly exchange it for an HP Spectre, is the keyboard. It was so stiff and unresponsive that I could have pulled my hair out. I had a large percentage of typing mistakes and I think I used the backspace key more than any other key. I have had dozens of laptops over the decades and this is the first time that a keyboard was a show stopper for me. I was so sorry to return it. My mom has a low-end $350 Lenovo and the keyboard is much better than this $1700 unit. The HP that I replaced it with is not nearly as sexy as the Lenovo, but the keyboard convinced me that I made the right choice. So sad.

This laptop is beautiful, even if a bit heavy (by nowadays standards). It’s sturdy, has a great display, snappy CPU (for most tasks) and generally sufficient GPU (unless you’re a gamer). Compared to my C930, I miss that the included pen parks in the laptop housing. However, the larger pen is more natural. The included sleeve holds the pen well. The integrated camera has a shutter to keep safety concerns at bay. It also supports Microsoft Hello face recognition. (It also offers fingerprint reader and password as options) This is a good size, although not super slim. It seems to strike a great balance to robustness. Look for external hubs if you need Ethernet, hdmi, card readers etc.. Battery life is decent for this size and I’m getting a couple of hours in normal use. That’s likely due to the 4K display.

Very impressive laptop. eye catching and good specs for the price. I have high standards when it comes to tech. My previous laptop was also 4k OLED and it is hard to go back. Things to consider are the extra buttons to the right that control brightness, dark/light theme, performance button, etc are quite weird to get used to. another thing to consider is the fingerprints that you leave on the laptop are noticeable and I constantly have to clean them but that is very common with all laptops. In terms of performance, It does the job for normal everyday task. if you are looking for gaming, designing, or something that requires heavy processing power, then I would look for something else. Everybody else who is looking for normal browsing, streaming, and regular homework stuff then this is the PC for you.
