    Overheats when charging and Sound Quality Poor

    Not even 3 months of owning and it overheats when charging (using the charging cord that came with it.) Also, the speakers sound like something broke off and is rattling in there. The idea of this computer is amazing, unfortunately it's not living up to the hype. Of course, outside of the return window.

      To start, regarding the heat produced while charging, this Yoga Book 9i features an active cooling system, along with other components and software, designed to enable the user to power through work without throttling due to heat produced. We recommend that the bottom of the device, where the air intake vents are, is clear of obstructions to increase air flow.

      Additionally, the Yoga Book features Smart Control, enabling the user to use the key command combination of Fn + Q to toggle between thermal/performance mode. For instances where you may use the device in your lap or a situation where the intake vents may be obstructed, we recommend switching to cool or quiet mode to help with the heat felt on the bottom of the machine.
      Also, please check for and apply any available updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings to help ensure you are using the latest software and drivers to ensure your system is running as efficiently as possible.

      With the speakers, we recommend adjusting sound settings using the Dolby Access app on your Yoga Book. If this does not improve your audio experience, please let us know so that we can share the next steps.

    Defective item when shipped …

    This laptop seemed like it was going to be great but as soon as it was shipped to me, I started the process of setting it up and then it shut down on me and essentially was defective. Luckily I got a new one on an exchange ! Computer is great !!

    This machine is awful. Dual displays means it runs hotter than the surface of the sun. The virtual keyboard implementation is really really poorly done. Any UAC prompt will hijack the lower display. No apps on the little quick bar. Buy this if you want a sluggish overheating desktop replacement for two monitors. I wanted to love it so much, but it's a half baked product. Pros: OLED Screen looks really really nice. Too bad this is a computer and not just a monitor.

      To start with thermal performance and UI issues, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

    Worse Laptop EVER!!! Don't get it!!!

    Buggy, crash, and really hot when on. I really liked the features that come with the device, but it's unusable. I purchased 100 dollars worth of apps just to swap it for an ipad. I recommend waiting for the next version, and hopefully, they will fix the problems. I really liked the device, but trust me. Wait for the next version. DO NOT BUY

    Broken Screen

    Arrived with a broken screen. I was leary that it may not be right for me because I travel a lot and didn’t want to take the chance of it breaking. Thankfully, Best Buy was amazing refunding my money.

    This product came with some scratches and there was no protection for the dual screens either. When I opened the laptop, little plastic pieces were falling out, it was honestly not a good purchase. I don't know if I would recommend this laptop to anyone.

    It isn’t smooth when sliding windows from screen to screen. One side is heavier than the other and the stand, nor holding it, balances it correctly. The pen and finger writing is horrible. I could have purchased a tablet a saved 98% of the cost and still have a better product.

First, we recommend updating the user center software for your Yoga Book. To do so, open the app, visit Settings and check for updates. Also, ensure that the "flick" to another screen feature is enabled to help with window transition. Also, if the stand is set correctly and on a flat surface, the system should be able to stand vertically with the heavier side in the base of the stand, then the device placed horizontally in the center without issue. Also, to improve touch and pen input, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button. If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet your issues persist, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem, which we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support for further assistance.     Terrible, stopped working after 4 days. Couldn’t access settings at all. Touch screens stopped working. Perhaps it was a dud, but never again.

    I love this so much. I have had it for a little over a year and I love it more than anything. I am in grad school and the way I can research on one screen and write papers on the other screen is incredible. I can't imagine using anything else now. I love having the dual screen. I do use another keyboard instead of the one it came with. I used a logi popkeys keyboard and just works better for me. Again, I highly recommend this laptop. It is worth it.
