Great Chromebook, definitely recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used many Chromebook in the past including Samsung's Chromebook Pro, Chromebook Plus, and Acer's Chromebook. This one exceeds my expectations, except in one key area, which is back-lit keyboard. Lenovo's website mentions that the keyboard is back-lit, but in reality either Lenovo decided to disable the back-lit or not include at all. I am impressed with the speed and reliability of the Chromebook and the applications it supports. This laptop can run Android apps and Linux apps, which gives this Chromebook distinct advantage over other OS'es. Some of you may not like to use Google Docs, but with enabling Linux Apps on Chromebook gives you ability to install LibreOffice, Gimp, Full fledged Firefox, standalone email and calendar client, slack chat client, etc. Enabling Linux apps makes this machine more powerful and more business oriented than ever. The keyboard is excellent to type on and good key travel. The 1080p touchscreen is good, but not the best. I think Lenovo 4K version is tidbit better in terms of color accuracy and the contrast ratio it produced. This one is still better than the most screen. The chromeOS is easy to use and for the first timers, it may be hard to leave Windows or MacOS behind, but this is far better OS than both combined. Linux apps + Chrome Apps & Extension + Android apps makes the chromeOS a lethal contender. I truly suggest people to give this chromebook a try. To Lenovo, If Lenovo is reading this review, yes i recommend this laptop to a friend or a colleague, but not including a back-lit keyboard on this beautiful machine and lying to potential buyers is not going to set well with them including myself. Lenovo should refund their customers.
