There wasn’t a lot of choice. It’s a bit different than I’m used to and I’m learning as I go-as this is my first Chromebook. I’ll get used to it and learn the shortcuts and I’m sure it will be great.

Fast but buzzy

The Lenovo was definitely punchier but I didn't like the buzzy cooling fan so returned it.

This processor is supported by 8GB DDR4-2133MHz RAM and a 128GB solid state hard drive. There is an internal fan within this configuration to maintain the proper operating temperature for this system. The internal fan automatically operates based on the workload the system is under. I did end up returning it simply because I have some legacy programs for work that require Windows and it is easier to have it on my local machine rather than remoting to a different one.

Unfortunately, it is held back by a limited OS. I know that there are fans of the Chrome OS environment, but as a power user I would not be able to use this as a daily driver.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased the YOGA Chromebook from Best Buy when on Sale for $599. I was looking a 3 models all in this price range. The HP C630 and The Dell Inspirion Chromebook. I decided on the Lenovo for these main reasons. Intel i5 is Blazing Fast on Chrome OS. Some will say its over kill but to me its "Future" Proofing the system 8 GB Of RAM - This is a plus! My last Chromebook only had 2 and started to slow down when multitasking and 4gb would have been much appreciated. 8gb is perfect 128gb of on board Flash Storage. Now storage wasn't important to me seeing Chrome Cloud stores most of everything anyway. But its nice to have the large amount of storage seeing I do use it offline time to time and can access Music, Movies and more quickly. Build quality is A+ - I noticed right away the all aluminum build and tactile keys. No flex in the screen when converting to Tent mode. Kinda on the heavy side being over 4lbs but was expecting this on a 15.6 laptop 1080p Screen - Now I went with the 1080p screen over the 4k for 2 main reasons. 1.. battery life is better when you don't have to push as many pixels. And 2... Its runs faster! I am blown away at the speed of this chrome book. DOWNFALLS: The biggest downfall is NO BACK-LIT KEYBOARD! I ALMOST returned it due to this. After using at night i realized how much i missed a back-lit keyboard. Both the HP and DELL have back-light keys at this price point. I constantly find myself searching for a light source in order to get work done. SPEAKERS - Speakers are weak in the YOGA but to be fair I never was impressed by laptop speakers ever! Even the branded B&o speakers in the HP sound weak. I find myself relying on the bluetooth and streaming to a bluetooth speaker to overcome this SIZE - Now originally I wasn't in the Market for a 15.6 Laptop and wanted a 14 inch. 12 is too small and I find 15.6 to be too big when in Tablet mode. The YOGA only offers one size which was almost a deal breaker for me. I pulled the trigger anyways and started to fall in love with having more screen real estate but still notice the awkwardness in the tablet mode. Conclusion: Overall I'm happy. I pulled the trigger because of specs and performance and can't be happier with that. Its the little things like the lack of back-lit keys that are disappointing but you make sacrifices.

I had a Acer Cromebook that worked great but I wanted somthing bigger as I am going back to school and this works great. The only down side is that the apps they have downlaoded in the store do not come with the computer :-(
