I haven't actually used it as a 2-in-1 yet - only used the laptop portion of the Yoga so far. Still, I love the fingertip log-in, the feel of the keys, the look of the computer. I am not a highly skilled computer user and it was still fairly easy for me to set up. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others looking for this size laptop - especially if you also want to use it as a tablet or to be able to use just the touchscreen aspects of it.

Nice machine that has enabled distance learning

In general, these are good, reliable machines, though we have had two occasions where the screen functionality gets flaky and we've returned the machines for replacements soon after purchase. Additionally, there seems to be a design flaw related to the charging connector used so that the physical connection is not robust and even when inserted fully, the internal connection is not made and no charging occurs. I always get the 3 year extended warranty just in case, and I've been incredibly impressed with the way that Best Buy staff address our needs whenever we have them. This is why I am a repeat customer.

With regard to charging the Yoga C740-15, This computer uses a standard USB-c charger. There is battery optimization software on this computer that protects battery life by not over charging the device - Letting it continue to charge once 100-percent charge is reached. You will see the battery indicator state, Plugged In, Not Charging. This is normal and will continue to let the battery discharge until battery level reaches 90 percent, then will behind trickle charging back to 100 percent. Very Quick, Crisp and sleek

It has Dolby Atmos speakers and Dolby Vision so it's top of the line. The load time from start to finish was approx. 12 seconds. But you can blame that on having a solid state drive as opposed to HDD. The 12GB of ram also makes this laptop a beast. My only complaint would be to offer different colors as another reviewer has said. But it's not enough to deduct a star from this review. But if you do upgrade to the next model though more expensive looks like Lenovo does offer other colors.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga C740-15 will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop in less than 10-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot times, Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
