You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Just type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

FAST, simple, and very easy to use. Battery life is better than expected! I can use it all day at work and still have power at the end of the day. Speakers are very good sound quality. The "surround sound" is pretty cool when watching videos. I would definitely buy this 2-1 laptop again!! A++++ My only complain is that wished it came with a stylus pen instead of having to buy one separately

I had researched a of computers beforehand. One thing I don't like is that the Ctrl and Fn are reversed from my work Lenovo. In the BIOS can't figure out how to switch them as the only option is called "Fool Proof" which isn't it. Also, my mouse is not waking the screensaver and can't figure out how to change that setting. And battery life is nowhere near 15 hours I don't believe. Seems more like 6, but I still need to measure. Otherwise, seems quite fast, nice sounds, and large screen.

With regard to the touchpad/mouse functionality, you can make adjustments to the touchpad/mouse in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. The Lenovo Yoga C740-15 ships with a 3CELL_60.3WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 15 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are only getting 6 hours of battery life, check to see if Battery Conservation Mode is turned on within Lenovo Vantage Power Settings. This Power Management setting is used for laptops that are continuously plugged in. To extend battery life of batteries that are always plugged in, this power setting only charges the battery to 60-percent. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode:

I liked it very much and so did my daughter so she wound up swiping it to take back and use at school. I did enjoy it to the degree that within a week I went back and purchased this one. I bought it open box and when I initially got it there was a problem with the ram being divided. I had also purchased the geek squad protection and they soon had it sorted out. The device has worked perfectly sense and I absolutely love it.

I particularly like the large convertible ( 15.6" screen ) laptop features that make it great for home, office and travel. There is a long list of other outstanding features that I can mention however, my short list includes a quite and cool running solid state drive and comfortable well designed backlit keyboard. In closing not only do I highly recommend it, I went back and bought a second one for my wife ( she loves it ! ).
