Otherwise, the battery lasts, the resolution is great and it's very easy to use. I even use the 10 key which I didn't even know I wanted.

Posted .Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. It is easy on the eyes to stare at for hours on end. This laptop is light weight to take on the move. I am also a Gen X and I was able to transition from my old laptop, that functioned off of Windows 7, to this one with very little problem.

I love the touch screen and glad I got the larger screen. Only thing is it's loud when the fan comes on and on a few sites I had difficulty with the touch screen.

I actually bought this computer for my husband after his went belly up. I have a Yoga myself so I knew what to get. And this was to last him a long time for those looking for long time purchase this is not going to outdate for a while. Great size easy to flip into a tepee for kitchen countertops, etc, and very easy to set up for those not familiar with computers. Also flips into a iPad type machine completely in half. Extremely fast if you are used to sitting waiting for it to load then go from site to site this one will amaze you. I bought him a 9-1 USB C Hub since this is a thin machine and you are covered with any kind of hook up you might need. Used it many times to run projectors, Roku, Bluetooth speakers, etc. working machine. Can I say more. Great computer. Can’t go wrong...

I almost didn't buy it!

So, I took the chance and brought it home and set it up. Well, 10 months later and a compound workload I am happy to say I am glad I did not pass it by, From music creation, extensive graphic designs, spreadsheets for financial tracking and planning. I have put this thing through the ringer and it has taken it all! no hiccups, no freezing, or shut downs. I would definitely recommend this laptop for the daily multitaskers out there that have to have a device that works almost seamlessly in every aspect of life!

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". Once fixed is running great

The first was so bad that during set up I was told to take it back to the store by the Lenovo help line. It was replaced and have had no problems since. The second was fine for one week then it wouldn’t start. On this one I had the Best Buy contract. After calling them I was told to drop it off 10 days later for an appointment. I decided I would try the various strategies that Lenovo help line gave me for the first one. I did a total reboot-all data lost. At least I got it up and running again. No problems since. We use the computers for work and home. They are user friendly. The camera, screen size and clear audio make it a good choice for zoom meetings or watching a movie.

His last one had windows 7 still on it. I was worried that it may be a large learning curve and that it may be too overpowered for him. Boy was I wrong. His learning curve was minutes and he was already flipping the screen around to use while in the kitchen. Light up buttons and fast processing have made him start to branch out as a user. It is a great computer that will last a long time.
