I've been using it for work for about 2 months now. I've had no performance issues with running Excel macros and data viewing software. I haven't really been using it as a touch screen, so no comments on that. The screen resolution is exceptional. I think it's a great value for the i7 processor and amount of memory you get compared to other brands. The only setback is that there's no HDMI port and few USB ports, so if you want multiple monitors, wireless mouse, external drives, etc., you'll have to invest in a dock station.

This configuration provides a full size 15.6-inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS LCD w/LED Backlight screen with HDR, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD) and a brightness level of 500 nits, but still only weighs 4.18 lbs. This model ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphone. For the best webcam performance, first, be sure you have removed the clear plastic tape that covers the webcam lens during shipping, it is hard to see and can be easily overlooked. Then be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Super Fast Laptop

I will not go back to a standard hard drive. Startup and shutdown are unbelievably quick. It has all the features I need for my business. I like the ability to close the webcam window when I don't need it. The only drawback is that there are a limited number of connections and they are all USB 2/3 or C - no HDMI or DisplayPort to connect to an external monitor, nor an Ethernet port to connect to a wired network. I did purchase separate converters that give me additional ports as well as HDMI/Ethernet connections.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga C740-15 ships with two standard USB 3.1 ports and two USB-c ports, one of which has video out capability. You can connect an external HDMI monitor to this computer by using a USB-c to HDMI adapter. Though there is no ethernet port on this ultra portable computer, you can connect this computer to an ethernet cable by using a USB to ethernet adapter.

I Love IT. Best Buy NEED TO KEEP THIS GUY AROUND so please find out the name of the representative that helped me on that day of May 15, 2020 the only thing I can find is Customer Service PIN 0938 056 1638 051520. What every I need from now I will only let him HELP ME. He Listened and REALLY UNDERSTOOD ME AND MY NEEDED

I love the resolution and how I can convert it into an iPad feature. I enjoy watching movies and all the Netflix programming. It’s very fast. The backlit keyboard has a nice feel to it. I’m able to type at ease with every stroke. Lenovo is definitely the way to go. You won’t be disappointed in this laptop, unless you’re just a negative person always looking to complain about something. Well done with this laptop, Lenovo!!!! You never disappoint!!!!
