I decided to splurge on a new laptop after 10 year as a retirement gift to myself after Christmas of 2017. I was excited about the new I7 chip as well as the new features of this model. Just after 14 months my system would no longer operate satisfactory because the battery takes over 26 to 30 hours to charge. I went to BestBuy and they referred me to the vendor (with appropriate phone number) . I called this vendor and was rudely "blown off" because it was out of warranty and I did not purchase the extended warranty. I offered to pay if necessary to repair the machine and was told that it was not an option and I needed to find an outside vendor near home. These machines certainly should last longer than 14 months. Buyer beware..Get extended warranty cause the manufacturer does not stand behind its product. I'm only writing now because I feel my cheap replacement is driving up my blood pressure and the local computer repair guy billed me but did not repair my machine after 2 visits. Good luck ..

Just overall bad performance. i blame most of this on windows 10. i had purchased a Surface Pro 6 before this and had to return it due to many of the same issues. SP^6 had a huge problem with adaptive contrast that would change depending what was displayed on the screen with no way to turn this off could not edit photos correctly. the 930 also has this but can be controlled. however the other issue, are just to much to over look. when in tablet mode screen flickers, virtual keyboard hardly ever comes up on its own. when in normal mode i give it about 20min worth of use before the brightness functions for the screen stop responding and you must restart, same with volume. battery life is not great. there are many other little issue with this laptop that i would have to assume at this point are present in most 2-1 laptop from many companies , i swore off apple a few years back but that was when i didnt need a laptop and was able to get by with a self built PC and tablets and phones, but now i want to edit on the go, so if i had to choose again i would get an apple when it came to a laptop and you mine as well buy it from apple because it price controlled and better customer service.

I was very much looking forward to purchasing this laptop to replace my old Surface Pro and although the screen looks nice, the CONNECTIVITY issue has been horrible even after speaking with Lenovo twice. They want my brand new laptop to be taken to a repair and do a factory reset. I use this for work and home. My old Surface Pro as well as other computers are all connected but not my Lenovo.

I just purchased the yoga 920 and it would glitch while using one note and Skype. Now this one is so much worse!! I can't even write a sentence without the built-in pen stopping me and glitching out writing lines a never wrote. It's very frustrating. I've had it less than 24 hours and im going to return it tomorrow.

It often has difficulty charging. I plug it in and the power charging light often will not come on, when it does it goes off before the laptop is completely charged. When the laptop is charged, b the charge isn't held for long. This began 3 months after purchase.

I feel cheated. Worst purchase I’ve made for any item over $50. Problem after problem then Geek Squad “fixes” only to not actually fix it. Don’t be fooled, this computer looks nice on the outside but it’s a piece of junk. Save yourself multiple trips and appointments - not to mention headaches with customer service. Will never buy another Lenovo and will never shop at Best Buy again because of their embarrassing return policy which is more or less non-existent. Very frustrating - you buy a new computer in order to be problem free for at least a couple years and that’s not the case at all. Go for any other brand computer.
