Set up was a breeze, no blue screens, very respectable battery life even with 4K display, and a reasonable price point. I got everything set up within an hour including all the Windows updates and personal software installs. Stick with the 14" size if you're going mobile, but it has the most energy efficient CPU compared to its larger sibling. I found the 15" just a bit too big to tug around and the numerical keypad on the 15" shifts your hand placement to the left of the machine a bit.

I had to return the 1st Yoga system because the screen had a problem with the pen. The battery is OK, it last for maybe 5 hours on a good day using battery saver mode. The screen is awesome for viewing, very bright and sharp. The Wacom writing part is not that great, my handwriting is not as good as on my Surface. The pen that comes with this laptop is a joke, my phone has a better stylus than this. I don't ever see me using it for anything. I gave it 2 stars because it works, it's decently fast and it don't get too hot when you use it.

Great laptop

The overall package of crisp, bright screen, small size and light weight, and fast, speedy operation make it a winner. I'm coming from a 10 year old 27" iMac and found it a great combination to combine a thunderbolt 3 hub with a 4k LG monitor, and I have what I liked about the iMac as well as portability. My new laptop replaced the iMac and a 10.5" ipad Pro as a single new device. Loving it so far.

Can’t even type in passwords. Cleaned and reinstalled Windows multiple times with no improvement. Making the move to MacBook Pro.

First, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Great Laptop - Bad for docking situations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Yoga C940 is consistently out-performing and has replaced my company-issued Dell laptop (2020 model) with comparable specs, except for one area: Docking. I have now joined the many C940 users who have discovered that, despite advertising to the contrary, this model does not charge off of most Thunderbolt 2, 3, or USB-C docking stations. While the peripherals all work, you will need to buy a second power adapter to power and charge the laptop while it is docked. Otherwise, this is an exceptional platform!

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga C940-14 4K Model number 81Q90041US. This model charges through the Thunderbolt 3.0 port on the right side of the computer. You should be able to attach your Thunderbolt 3.0 port here and expand your port capabilities up to the capabilities of the dock and have the Thunderbolt port charge the Yoga C940-14 4K model as well. Speedy and Clean Laptop

I've been running Fl Studio (Music Software) on this machine and I have no complaints in that area! I know that USB C is more common now as there is only one regular USB port, so I would reccomend purchasing an adapter for more USB ports! The Bluetooth on this device is much faster than most other laptops I've used. Highly suggest this machine!!

Died within a few months

Bad Hardware and poor body quality

With in one year, multiple problem has been started. 1) Laptop is getting started heating on use of 30 minute. 2) Had to send laptop for battery replacement. 3) started getting scratches in screen from inside. some parts from inside is started giving scratches from inside. 4) When i got laptop from lenovo on post battery replacement, it was having dent on speaker Poor quality check and poor service from lenovo. Lenovo should re-visit quality of body and hardware of this product. Even when i got this laptop first time, it was having dent and i had to send for replacement. I invested $1,559.10 and bought this laptop as i was looking for some reliable company and product for long term but with in one and half year, i started facing lot of problem. When i told lenovo and requested for money back or any composition, they said your laptop in under warranty and we will just replace parts and said we can't do anything else.

Two Defective Computers in a Row

I thought it was weird and a fluke. So I ordered another one of them. I loved how light it was and all the functions and responsiveness to the screen. The second computer I bought arrived and it started getting very hot when it was plugged in. I know laptops get warm, but I'm saying this laptop was so warm I wasn't even able to touch the keyboard warm. After a few days of this, it started giving me all these error messages about the auto-cooling and the hard drive issues. I realized that the first computer must have had the same issue. After looking at several Lenovo boards, it seems that this computer has that issue A LOT. I would recommend getting a different brand. I love Lenovos- I've had several and my husband does too. But this one is not quality.

An Expensive Mistake

The laptop has spent weeks in the shop with computer experts doing their best to correct the problems which have included: the laptop over-heating several times, leading to inability to restart; the audio system repeatedly failing, both microphone and speakers. Despite 4-5 trips to the repair shop, the audio issues have not been fully resolved. I have tried to rely on the Yoga to run and store data for a psychotherapy practice, but have fallen back on using a far less expensive re-furbished Toshiba instead. This is proof that paying more does not necessarily buy quality.

Overheating Issue

It seemed like an ideal upgrade from my current needs. Sadly it had an overheating issue. I owned it for less than 48 hours before I returned it. In that time frame, it overheated 3 times and kept shutting down. I did all the recommended tweaks Lennovo recommended to fix this issue (there are forums upon forums on this model and overheating), but it was so hot I could barely even touch it. I was so disappointed! A week later, I purchased an HP Spectre x360. So far no issues and it is an amazing unit. My advice, compare and really research this overheating issue before you purchase.

laptop overheat after 1/2 hour
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought it for the performance and 4k screen. i thought it might have heat management issues even before buying because it seemed like there is no good vent placements....BUT i wanted to give it a chance thinking maybe the designers figured out a way to manage the heat. sure enough this laptop reliably heats up to an uncomfortable level after a half hour of use. important to note that the way I've used it so far has been mostly watching youtube videos, many of them 4k. not entirely sure what the heat signature would be if that wasn't my main activity on it. the other issue that is kind of evoking disappointment is the colors. they are not natural. specifically i am referring to the reds that are way to bright. i don't know if this can be calibrated with some software, but right now it doesn't look quite right.

Flickering Screen - 1 Week Old =(

The Chrome bookmark toolbar at top, gets frozen in multiple repeating rows of like 10, and flashes, filling up the entire screen. This happens intermittently (maybe once daily) for about a minute and this was new, 1 week old from Best Buy in Vegas, October 2020. Yoga 940. I looked online there are fixes for drivers, etc to repair it has common flickering screen issues apparently. Nope! Returning & getting HP tomorrow. Mad I wasted my whole week setting this darn thing updating everything. Its pretty a color though and I love 14" size but Im done with Lenovo.

Do NOT buy!

I've got 3 of these and at most use them an hour a day. 2 of them have had wireless card issues and internet just stopped working. 1 of them the shift key has broken and 1 of them is now overheating while not even in use. It is overheating so bad it almost burns to touch and actually shuts itself off. This is pathetic for a laptop that was $1,500. Extremely disappointed. Will not purchase a Lenovo computer ever again after this experience.
