He live streams classes and does his school work with it. His only complaint thus far is the battery life is less than both his iPad Air 2 and his old Surface Pro 3 tablet.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the screen image from your Lenovo Yoga C940-14 4K model. Check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. It is very quick and can handle almost anything I can throw at it on a productivity level. I regularly have 50+ Chrome browser tabs open, a few Edge or Firefox tabs open, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel, and other apps open, and I never feel this thing slow down. The fast processor and all the RAM make things easy to do without worrying about "managing" open apps. I use it as a tablet regularly to consume media from streaming services, Kindle, Youtube, etc. This is a nifty benefit that makes this item useful for more than just computing. The Yoga retracts it's keys and makes them inactive so you do not strike them. Switching to "tablet" mode allows you to disable the keys and use the laptop in a "stand mode with the keys face down on a table. The screen is stunning and bright. The speakers turn towards you as you move the screen. This allows for good sound and a fantastic picture while watching movies and videos. This is a great tool for drawing and marking up documents. The touchscreen and pen help you unleash your inner artist. I use it regularly to annotate documents and to suggest changes for others. It is a new way to interact that I really enjoy. Finally, the battery life is quite good. I can get a full day of work out of this with the screen turned up as much as I want If I do start to run out of battery, a 15- 30 minute charge will buy me many additional hours of use. I have had every version of the Yoga, and this is the best one yet. I highly recommend this product.

Many of the ultra books in this category sacrifice one or the other, but this feels Rock solid while also being incredibly light. That performance is the best out of 10th gen Ultrabooks and compares more favorable against the HP Spectre x-360 as well as Dell XPS 13. I personally bought the HP but returned it because the hinges are very flimsy which causes the screen to be very unsteady. One of the things I love about this Lenovo is the pain that is integrated into the body of the laptop, you'll never have to worry about losing it on like with HP or Dell. I've been using the laptop for about 6 weeks now and could not be more pleased overall. It goes on sale often, look for the 4K 16GB of ram model to be on sale for around 12 or $1,300. speaking of the 4K model, the screen brightness is around 500 minutes and is easily readable in bright daylight. The fingerprint scanner near the keyboard is lightning fast. the one major complaint I have for the laptop is that there is no infrared camera, so there is no windows hello facial recognition. however, the speediness and accuracy of the fingerprint sensor almost makes up for the lack of facial login.

Sound is about the best I’ve heard on a laptop, and the screen quality is an easy iPad replacement. Boots up quick too. The 4K screen sucks the battery so don’t plan on being far away from an outlet, but again, the screen is so nice it’s an acceptable trade off.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga C940-14 4K model ships with a 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 10 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting less battery life, be sure Battery Conservation Mode is turned off. This Power Management setting is used for laptops that are plugged in all the time. Chassis is a bit "sharper" on edges than previous laptop and battery life a little shorter than optimum due to 4K screen. Otherwise great laptop!

The screen is incredible, processor is fast, keyboard feels great and the speakers are the best ones ever put on a laptop. Stylus is pretty small and hard to get out but, works fine. My only complaint is that the charging ports (2 of them) are both on the same side so, you can only plug in from one side..

I have other laptops that you can barely hear the speakers because they are on the bottom. With the speaker being on top of the computer pointing right at you its so much better. The computer is also super quick and has a great screen. Really enjoying this laptop.

Color is fantastic! Sound is great - robust. Still exploring and don’t have to worry about losing the stylus. Folds over and becomes a tablet - touch screen too! Occasional Reliability Issues

Much of the time it works seamlessly. I do have college age kids in the house and a husband who are all utilizing wireless connections and are having no problems. I, on the other hand, have instances in which I am continually losing connection - not a good thing with a full class of middle school kids and not an issue I had with an older laptop. (I pay the absolute most for internet, so I don’t think that’s my issue.) The Lenovo been fine for personal uses like streaming movies or checking email.
