Great monitor high performance a good build

Holds up great to my MacBook pro, has two SSD slots so I can install Ubuntu Linux for dev. The mini led display is nice and sound is beautiful.

Feels like a premium build, and the keyboard is very responsive with a satisfying bounce. There is really no competition at this price range as I scour the internet for a laptop like this. Very good purchase.

Worst Laptop Ever!!!!

I bought this laptop in June, I have had to call in 4 times for the exact same thing. It keeps telling me there is no microphone. So every time I call geek squad they have to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. This shouldn't happen all the time. It will reboot itself and then it doesn't have a microphone. I will never by another Lenovo laptop again. This last time, they told me I have to bring it in. But I work from home, so if they can't fix it, what am I supposed to do? I'm am very frustrated. I paid $1879.24 for something that doesn't work. It very frustrating when you get on a zoom call and there is no microphone, so nobody can hear you. I have wasted hours on the phone with Geek squad and have jeopardized my job for a laptop that doesn't work. The photo I attached shows it has no input, no microphone. No input devices found.

Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in laptops like this Yoga Pro 9i, that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards and high refresh rate displays. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabling you to choose the GPU working mode. You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation.

The volume of the fans correlates to your system processing heavy workloads and your system's thermal controller reacting to help keep your laptop cool. If you do not need top-end performance based on what you're working on, you can take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. Inherently, switching to battery saving mode reserves the system top-end performance and keeps fan noise lower for your satisfaction. The only thing I would improve would be the slight chassis flexing on the bottom and the loud fans under load. But this is as best of a performance laptop you can get for the money in the Windows world.

Power button failed after 6 pushes. USB-c issues

Also the USBC does not support charging, and does not recognize external SSDs. Only one day old, I opened up a repair place, and Lenovo immediately closed it saying my only option was to go through post sales support. I called post sales support, and they said my only option was to return it. So Lenovo refused to fix it and refuse to replace it. Had to return to Best buy

It is dead silent when running, and performs all tasks very well, and it has a sleek chassis. Overall very satisfied buy. High Performing Versatile Laptop

The screen is bright and attractive. I thought I would need to get a docking station to use as a laptop, but the available ports are sufficient for most needs. I can plug in an ethernet to thunderbolt adapter, audio interface, HDMI and an external camera with the available ports. The graphic processor is great for working with large RAW files for processing photographs.
