The larger screen is so much easier to edit videos with. The screen resolution is also a cut above any other laptops I have previously owned. My only complaint is that sometimes it is extremely slow. With it having 32GB of RAM I was not expecting this to ever happen, but it has several times since getting this laptop in May of 2024. I do recommend it, but wish I never had to worry about it not being as reliably fast as I assumed it would be before purchasing it.

It is fast, quiet and the screen resolution is amazing. I also love the many ports it comes with so I can still plug in legacy devices. Great high end value!

Good price too. Use for video editing and handling the job fine. Not really any bloatware, just the Macafee security stuff. Only wish I could someday increase RAM to 64, but 32 is plenty for now. Lenovo makes solid built laptops, this is our third and they all still work. Great deal!

Battery Life Problem

I only do administrative work and the brightness is less than half from it's maximum and yet the charge does not last long. I have only used the laptop in less than 30 days. BestBuy offers 14 days returns. It was a disappointment. I have had this for a little over a year and the battery life seems to be getting worst. Spec says battery life up to 8 hours. Even if you dont' do any work on this laptop. You'd be lucky for it to last an hour and a half. False advertisement as far as I am concern. This has been well taken care of from day 1. I will not buy any Lenovo products again.

Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in laptops like this Yoga Pro 9i, that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards and high refresh rate displays. We wish to clarify that the advertised battery life is derived from test results where the laptop is used in certain conditions that can vary from real-world application.
If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

Only regret is that I thought it was like the other Yogas that had the ability to flip the all the way around so it could be used liked a tablet. Can only flip 180° though.

Good laptop but moderate display quality.

The speaker speaker sounds amazing. But the display wobbles a little while typing which is but annoying. And also since it's a UPS display the screen is not as good as a AMOLED one. The typing experience is also good. The battery life is Okay
