I rarely used the tablet mode on the 7i but I do think they should have retained that feature for this model.

I do a lot of business process work, so it's the perfect size, especially when paired with an external monitor. The Lenovo Vantage software is nice, but it can also be a pain, especially when it drains the battery when in use. Overall, I really like this laptop for business and personal use.

I had my prior Yoga for over 10 years, and it still works great. The only reason I upgraded is because my older model is not compatible w/ Windows 11. This new laptop is continuing my confidence in Lenovo. Highly Recommended!

Great gaming laptop

I would put this as a 5 start but recently ran into an issue where the charging port stopped working after 1 month of purchasing it. Thankfully I have the full warranty on it!

I love my new laptop!

I love the back-lit keyboard and the sound controls on the top row of the keyboard is very convenient. It was a snap to set up (I got help from Carbonite and Microsoft to restore some files and Outlook). Boots up quickly and a great upgrade from my old machine.

When pressing with a little force on a key, specifically towards the middle, the keyboard indents slightly. The performance for the money is great especially if on sale although i would trade the touch screen away for any other improvement seeing as I rarely use it.

Finally, a solid piece of equipment!!

I'm so glad to finally have a much heavier laptop than my recent Dells (who has been using a lot more plastics). The wrist rest on either side of the touchpad, are something I still can't get used to. It is so sensitive and things pop up randomly. I am going to contact Lenovo on this.

Regarding the touchpad troubles, to help remedy this, first, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. There should be an option to toggle touchpad options there. Also, under the "Taps" option in this part of the menu, you can adjust touchpad sensitivity.

Great dental school purchase

The computer was purchased for dental school and it exceeded the minimum specs needed. I thought all Yoga's bent back into a tablet but I about gave my boyfriend a heart attack beginning to bend it backward. However, it's great none-the-less without having that ability -still has a touch screen! For the specs and the price - plus a large screen and keypad - it is perfect for school. I will say, battery life could be better, and I will continue to play around with the settings to try help improve that.
