I love my new laptop!

I love the back-lit keyboard and the sound controls on the top row of the keyboard is very convenient. It was a snap to set up (I got help from Carbonite and Microsoft to restore some files and Outlook). Boots up quickly and a great upgrade from my old machine.

Great gaming laptop

I would put this as a 5 start but recently ran into an issue where the charging port stopped working after 1 month of purchasing it. Thankfully I have the full warranty on it!

Finally, a solid piece of equipment!!

I'm so glad to finally have a much heavier laptop than my recent Dells (who has been using a lot more plastics). The wrist rest on either side of the touchpad, are something I still can't get used to. It is so sensitive and things pop up randomly. I am going to contact Lenovo on this.

Regarding the touchpad troubles, to help remedy this, first, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. There should be an option to toggle touchpad options there. Also, under the "Taps" option in this part of the menu, you can adjust touchpad sensitivity.

Great for work, but a bit expensive at the moment.

Responds efficiently and effectively, but the price is a bit steep for its asking price at the moment. Paid almost $2K after tax, and again...loved the laptop! But I did indeed return it as there are simply better options for less is all. Ultimately returned it, but if the price was about $500 less! Wouldve held onto it for sure!

Regarding your comment with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in laptops like this Yoga Pro 9i, that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards and high refresh rate displays. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabling you to choose the GPU working mode. You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

Great Computer - Annoying Charger

The power cord is not standard or USB, which is very annoying because it has to be special ordered as a Lenovo part. 2.) Loaded with a ton of preinstalled software, but that's usually the case - no biggie
