Love my new laptop!

Some sites are easier to navigate on it . I love how it looks. It took a minute to figure out how to turn it on, because the salesperson at the store showed me everything except that. I learned what I wanted to know about buying a new computer but didn’t understand that the button was not easy marked on and off on the side .( or at least green and red switch.

Great Buy

Even though this is technically the mid tier in the Lenovo line, it still has a fairly premium feel because of the metal casing. The speakers on this thing rival that of the MacBook with the added bonus of an excellent, Lenovo keyboard. The trackpad is the main drawback, it's fine, but the palm rejection isn't as robust and it's very wide. You do eventually just start to type from the sides naturally though once you get used to it.

Great Laptop

No strengths apart from Lunar Lake

It has very good battery life that lasts long enough for a whole day of work, and a build quality that does not feel cheap. The problem is, at this price point, I would say that a decent build quality would be a must have. As for battery life, it has an Intel Lunar Lake processor, which means that battery life is going to be good no matter which brand or model it is. Apart from these two strengths, I find this machine to have several weaknesses. The display is constantly reflecting light, which makes it impossible to work in a brighter environment. Also, when the display gets darker, it basically becomes a mirror, and you see your on face on top of all content. The expandability is not great, as the model only supports one 2242 ssd, so all of the mainstream 2280 ssd will not fit inside. The hinge is very tight, making it impossible to open with one hand. Also, I did run in to a few bugs, and it did come with a lot of preinstalled software. Overall, I would say this model will only be a good buy if it is on a great sale.

Firstly, in reference to the bugs, you can use Lenovo Vantage to correct software issues and ensure your device is using the newest software versions, we recommend running and installing all driver and software updates available in Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page. To address your concerns about bloatware, Lenovo laptops include Lenovo created applications to enhance user experience and system performance. These applications are largely optional but will enhance your laptop’s features and health. If you would like to remove unwanted programs you can do so easily through the following steps, first open Settings, select the ‘Apps’ tab on the left-hand side of the display, next choose “Installed apps” on the right-hand side of the display, lastly find the program you would like to remove and click the three dots located to the right of the app and select “Uninstall". Please note that your device will need to restart to remove some program files that cannot be deleted while your device is still in use.
Lastly, in reference to your feedback on storage capabilities and the display finish, we have recorded your observations, and we may consider your feedback for future improvements. Great laptop

I have had it for almost a year I got it for school and it even runs games pretty well. I find it very comfortable as it’s a good size and slim making it easy to travel with. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase!

Good Computer for Making Music

The keyboard layout makes it much more comfortable for typing. I wish it had a 10 key pad for certain applications, but overall I'm very pleased with this computer.

Amazing laptop with great battery life

These have amazing sound, built-in AI assistant, and screen size/keyboard just right. The graphics are great, battery life above average and this laptop doesn't get hot like so many others. Lenovo is built to last, and it's my go-to brand.

Great workstation!!!

The configuration is pretty good, a tiny workstation. Should be able to run most introduce processes for a dev (I'm a software engineer). Worth every penny... I bought it on sale, so saved $400...but it would be totally worth it for full price. Excellent deal!

After hours of research it was apparent that installing Linux was not really possible...waiting on a needed Bios update from Lenovo. That update became available Feb. 11 (Bios v66). Successfully installed Ubuntu 24.10. Came with kernel 6.11. Upgraded to kernel 6.13. Only problem I see is lack of audio. I can live with that. Later kernel is necessary since this hardware (Lunar Lake) is so new. Kept Windows for dual boot. Now have what I wanted. A Copilot+ laptop, and a Linux desktop as my daily driver. Bleeding edge technology...hopefully this will be good for a few years. I am very happy with this laptop.
