Purchased this supposedly Excellent condition Microwave with everything included as per the listing. Even asked at the time of pick up. Incorrect. Wall mount is missing and screw adapter for top mount is missing, not installed in the device. Visited another lical BestBuy to request help with this. Part not available, can not get it fixed and can not help with pickup. Also a friendly message that as I am saving with open box, I should deal with the pain and lost time to make it work. As trusting bestbuy I already dismounted old microwave, I am left with two Microwaves stiing at my dining table taking huge space in my small space on 1st floor. The only option left it is return it within 15 days tgey offer. My shoulder now hurts and no help to return it due to the long weekend. Their phone number on Sunday is Sales only, no customer service. Have wasted so much time on call, in store, and in my own efforts to get a handyman to still get it installed. DO NOT TRUST their "excellent" listing. I am also being redirected to the store that sold it instead of BestBuy taking ownership, this was an order on bestbuy.com. Horrible experience so far (1) With condition of the item (2) With help from store (3) With Best Buy. Will I consider or recommend BestBuy for my next heavy appliance purchase- No.

It has been a good oven so far. Didn’t realize that it was only 1,000 watt oven. We have so foods which say 1100 watts minimum.

Our GE microwave quit working after 22 years of normal use. Read a lot of reviews and this model got pretty good reviews EXCEPT the loud noise while in use. We decided to get it anyway. Friends it IS loud! We used this microwave for 8 months and it suddenly quit heating food during the holidays! I spent more than an hour with LG support to diagnose the issue. It was determined that a repair tech (arraigned by LG) was required. Their first available is two weeks. I called LG customer service and asked if they could arrange a sooner date. Could not. Very disappointed. We purchased an LG washing machine and dryer and refrigerator this year. If this is the way LG stands behind their warranties we will not be buying ANY LG products again. I will update this review as warranted.

I just installed this unit myself yesterday. It was replacing an existing over the range microwave and installation took less than 2 hours working by myself. We also did not have any exterior venting connections which also simplified the installation. Making sure I had the template lined up correctly made hanging the microwave much easier because everything fit perfectly on the first attempt to hang the unit up. This microwave is heavy but I was able to hang it by myself. We currently have Kenmore Elite stainless steel appliances with black trim. I was worried this unit wouldn't match but it looks great! Once installed you just plug it in and it's ready to use. We use the quick 30 second button the most, which this has. It also has express cook where number 1-6 will start the unit with 1-6 minutes depending on which you press. The Wi-Fi installation took a few tries for me. I would recommend you first create an LG account in the LG app on your smartphone since this is required for setup. We have Eero routers and the next step is to temporarily disable 5Ghz if you have a similar mesh setup. Once that is done follow the instructions in the app to setup the microwave and it should work smoothly. I initially forgot to turn off 5Ghz and the microwave was having trouble communicating. Overall we are very happy with how this unit looks and works. I had read complaints in other reviews about the chime but I don't find it more or less pleasant than our previous unit that just beeped. If you don't open the door after cooking is finished it will continue to play the chime every 30-60 seconds until you do. Our old microwave did the same thing but with beeps only and can get "annoying" if you walked off to do something else during cooking but it's also a nice reminder you have something in there. I certainly wouldn't avoid this microwave due to the chime.
