It works great and has a musical tune when finished, instead of a bell or buzzer. I am not using it over a stove, so I don't have experience with the vent function. Ordered with three day free shipping and it arrived in two.

Wish light inside was brighter like the old LG that I had. Also, mailed /sent in the New LG Electronics Warranty Register card to have it returned to me AS UNABLE TO FORWARD.

Exhaust fan function and noise are good. But, this sucker is very loud while actually microwaving. Very loud. Disappointing.

Only complaint, is to hit the defrost button 5 times to have it defrost with time rather than other settings but it works great. Pleasant chimes. Mostly use for defrost, veg & rice cooking, reheating. Bit complicated but good instruction manual, replaces really old microwave.

Cheerful and compact Microwave!

It does not have a lot of complex features but fits our small space needs perfectly. It plays cheerful little tunes when it is finished heating or timing food prep in the kitchen.

Over-the-Range Microwave didn't meet your expectations regarding the noise level during operation. We understand your inquiry regarding the sound of the unit while cooking. To help minimize noise, we recommend checking that the turntable is correctly aligned on its ring and that the vent fan is set to a lower speed if it is currently on high.
