Good inexpensive BluRay drive

Talked with the service center and read the details in the manual. Had to move the connection from the USB hub to connect directly to the PC to restore functionality. Still had to go out and buy software to play a BluRay disc.

Fit the need but some problems with Windows 8.1

It had a hard time being recognized on two Windows 8.1 computers. I think I figured out that it needed to be connected, then turned on, then turned off, then turned on. The second time turning it on seemed to make the drive recognized. Not the smoothest but it's really not a big deal for getting done what I need to.

Quality but software is limited

Would have given 5 stars, but you cannot burn blue ray video with the bundled software, and the usb cable is too short. It is a little pricey in its niche, but the build quality is exceptional.
