power dvd program is easy to use, great quality burns.

Works as advertised on my Mac and PC. Would recommend

I primarily use this drive to burn CDs and DVDs from my 27 inch iMac. I prefer a tray on my optical drives, so I'm willing to except that this drive takes up a little more desk real estate.

I've used this twice and was successful on burning a disc once. The first disc took over 3-hours to burn, but it came out great (Go-Pro video). Second disc was burning a home movie from my Sony camera and also took over 3-hours and when the disc was being finalized, the software or player stopped working and the disc was not completed, wasting a disc and all that time. I have not tried to burn another disc since that mistake.

PROS: Portable (compared to an internal drive)/reads-writes media efficiently CONS: Makes a lot of noise // sometimes gets "stuck" on some of my media and takes a while to read

I bought this so I could read blue ray disk drives. It was great to be able to read them. Unfortunately, my video card and the codec had some problems. The refresh rate was noticeably slow for "panning" scenes. The video codec somehow actually had problems buffering the data and that caused problems too. Fortunately, I upgraded my video card and now there aren't half as many problems. There is an occasional accidental pause which may be because of my screen saver. I still haven't figured that one out.

It should come with an example of how you can make, edit , then burn. I,m still trying to figure it out.

Good drive, very versatile. Reads and writes nearly all types of medium. Not much else to say, new user, limited experience, good so far.

I like to sit on the patio during the summer and I wanted to watch my Blu-ray and DVD's while out there on my laptop. This is just what I needed, nice and small and plays the disks just fine. It was just what I needed.

Got this to replace DVD burner in laptop that burnt out. Easy to hook up and use. Can be really slow.

Have used a few Blu-ray movies and so far so good. Easy to use. The price was very good.

This is a great product if your are making your own home movies or want to create BD from your digital photos. It allows the user to create menu pages and you can customize your photos for future use.

Good product for the money. I noticed some DVD brands burn better then others though...I have has some issues with Sony DVD's

Both the external 3D blueray drive and external hard drive were a great buy for my first-year college student

This is a nice blue ray player, the only downside is the bulky design, but it works well and comes with good software

i wish my laptop could be as light and portable as it is currently but with this device already inside of it so I don't have to carry it around

I looked at several different bluray drives and this one had the better ratings. The drive was a simple install basically plug it in. So far it has functioned exactly as I would expect.

Not very compatible for a Mac. But when it did work, it was fast

Good unit coping/writing non-blu ray dvds. Would not copy/write Dvds. Needed additional updated hardware
