I want to exchange this thing so bad but it is after it's 14 day mark. I hate this thing!

Only 8 month old and stopped working, will never buy this again

sound system should be sold WITH tv itself! tv sound system did not work with cable!

Not a very good at all. Died after 5 minutes of use, never worked again.

This lg soundbar is great. I don’t know what the fuss is all about. This thing almost set itself up. This thing sounds awesome and I Am very picky when it comes to sound. I have sub behind couch about 14ft away. It picked it right up and has not dropped sound. I think some of the issues is how you have TV set up. That was a little tricky but not related to sound bar. I have a Samsung tv, go to sound and select optical from menu and the remote controls soundbar and tv speakers shut off automatically. This bar is well worth the sale price of $129 or $149. This has some serious power. Love it 100%. The Best Buy kid sold me on this. The store unit was down so I didn’t get to hear, I went on employees reccomendation and bought it. Glad I did. This soundbar system definitely exceeded my expectations. I had previously bought a soundbar on sale for 99 that I ended up returning so my expectations were not high for this. I was wrong ! The sound is amazing. The woofer really kicks. I put it in cinema mode and everything sounds amazing. It does come with an optical cable in the box but that cable looked chintzy so I bought one of the thicker braided gold plated optical cables and used that to hook it up to my TV. I definitely recommend buying this while it is still on sale because at 129 you can't beat that deal.

Love this soundbar, it was so easy to hook up to my TV. And my LG TV is 5 years old. I just took it out of the box and plugged the optical cord into the TV and plugged the power cord in for the subwoofer and I was done. The sound that comes out of this is fantastic. Connects to my S8 phone instantly. Couldn't ask for a better soundbar for the prize. Only thing I would change about this soundbar is that it doesn't show you the volume going up or down or the input when you try and change it.

I never knew what a sound bar was used for, but when I saw them on sale for Black Friday at B.B. I decided to read the reviews and see what others had to say about them. I finally decided to buy two for our two TVs to help improve our listening of all shows and movies. I bought this LG and the other was a Samsung that was $20 more. What is missing on this LG bar is a digital readout screen that the Samsung has, which lets you see what changes you are making with the remote, such as volume level. With the LG bar, I can not tell what mode I’m in or get any indication that the remote is working except when I turn up the volume up enough to hear a change. Despite the sound being Ok, I think having a readout window showing the modes the sound bar is in, is a helpful feature when making adjustments and would recommend looking for that feature when selection a sound bar.

When i saw this soundbar for almost half off i thought it was a steal and a must have. Sound quality is pretty important to me, so much that i have a variety of soundbars in my home ranging from $100-1500 among other devices. Long story short, the sound of the soundbar "seems off".....especially the bass. You'd think that with how big the sub-woofer looks it'd be a little deeper and more powerful. Definitely not the worse soundbar I've heard but also far from the best. probably returning it and downgrading/upgrading to something that "sounds" more appealing even if not as loud since I'm using it in the smallest room in my home. I'm not exaggerating when i say my $100 Sony soundbar would give it a run for its money, in terms of sound quality of course, though i doubt hardly anybody would care as much considering what you are getting for the price PROS: -Loud -Decent sound -Good price -Wireless sub woofer CONS: -Bass sounds "off" (not deep) and underwhelming for size.

I purchased this sound bar for my dad and was so impressed with the sound decided to buy one for our 60 inch Samsung 4k TV. Sound is excellent and for the price you can’t go wrong. There are few minor issues and they are (1) Sound levels do not show on TV screen (2) Works with our Cox Contour remote but you have to turn power on and off from LG remote (3) Has great woofer levels but would be nice to have additional tone adjustments. Overall great addition to our TV.
